Frankston Lee Garden — Restaurant in Melbourne

Feb 2021. Saw the bad reviews but we just got it on ubereats and it was great! We had Singapore noodles, vegetarian fried rice, lemon chicken, schezwan spicy beef and garlic prawns & vegetables. All cooked well and very tasty. Meat was very tender and flavours were spot on. Tasty Chinese comfort food and definitely the best traditional Chinese place we've had in the area. Surprised it's a takeaway place because it tasted like a classic Chinese restaurant. They must have changed a lot if previous reviews were bad, because I only leave a review if a place was awful or very good. This place is really good! Prices very reasonable too. Our order was quick on ubereats. I see complaints from people using menulog. Used menulog twice with other places and was a disaster so never used again. Don't blame the restaurant for menulog issues. Recommend this place on...

Would rate zero stars if I could. 2 hours 40 minutes later food is still not here. Was told after an hour it was 20 minutes away, after another 40 minutes was told it was being cooked. At the 2 hour mark was told the driver was there. At the 2 hour 40 minute mark was told it was being packed ready to go.

No explanation other than "we have been really busy" I'm sorry that isn't a good enough explanation.

The restaurant is now closed, I have not received my food. But unless it is the best take away of my entire life, I can't see me rating this any higher then 1 star. In fact, if it was possible to give them zero stars I probably would.

I will not be ordering from them again, and I will actively discourage others from doing so. Let this review...

Disgusted that I ordered food through Menulog - I put in the street name and it put in frankston North and wouldn't let me change the suburb. A girl from the restaurant rang me with a belligerent attitude telling me I had to pay an extra 5 bucks for the delivery - I told her we should split it because it was the mistake of their website - she was prococious - no customer service skills - I asked to speak to the manager (apparently standing beside her) and they wouldn't talk to me. Seriously if you don't want to provide customer service don't own a shop! Get an online store and sell something else. That 2.50 just cost you a customer for life - I will also tell all my friends not to go there! Excellent business...
