Mocha was on par with the better side Melbourne city cafes, and great latte art on top!

Toastie was crunchy on the outside and warm on the inside, exactly as expected from a cafe with an excellent flavour/texture.

Staff are friendly, kind, and open to answer and clarify anything so long as you ask. My partner and I were also asked if we wanted to add or remove anything from the Toastie, making their customer service on the high end of my experiences.

The atmosphere is fantastic with plants around the room and across the ceiling. It is cozy on the inside with just enough room to fit a pram, but no quite a wheelchair.

There is also a takeaway window to order from outside.

Freaky Tiki is my go to cafe in Rye. They make the best coffee in town and have been known for their coffee for over a decade. I can always trust I’ll walk away, with heaven in a cup and a little treat. I’ll admit, I’m addicted to the vegan citrus cake, and I love how they make sure they don’t run out for me, they’re so lovely. I hear lots of comments about the cheese cakes, but haven’t tried, their bacon and egg rolls are perfection, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is made in house, so it’s fresh and very tempting, the staff are lovely and always up for a chat. One of the worst cafes ive been to. Very rude staff unprofessional and unhappy. If u do not enjoy serving customers and running a business then maybe just change?? I tried ordering coffee from here and they just starred at the walls and at me and walked off. As if they’re doing me a favour. Very poor culture in this place and very poor management. there are plenty other cafes around that are way better than this unwelcoming place. To top it all off, the place smells and i havent seen them clean any tables or chairs or anything... definitely needs a total refreshment of the business culture and management.
