Gabbies Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered two pizzas here several months ago. One of the pizzas didn't fit the description to what was ordered. Rang the shop and after waiting some time they decided to remake the correct pizza and have it delivered. The lady that delivered the pizza did apologise for the error but was somewhat rude & ended up taking the other pizza back after confirming it was indeed wrong. My family member ate their pizza while I ate mine afterward.. meaning that we didn't get to sit and eat dinner together. After all this, I found the pizzas had excessive toppings and weren't so tasty.

Edit to management. I am not adapt to lying and leaving false reviews. I am an honest person. If you feel the need to report my review, by all means go for it. The only thing I forgot to add was that we did receive a free 1.25L soft drink along with the replacement pizza.. the reason my review came about months later is due to the fact that I don't personally live in Glenroy, although a family member does. Wrecked my suprise. IGNORED my request and wrote something totally different. Here's the story;

I ordered a pizza to get sent over to my friends house to cheer her up.

I wrote in the special instructions;

Write on the box " Love from Sarah " because this is a suprise,

& I placed the order for 6pm.

After not hearing any thank-you messages from my friend, I decided to call Gabbies pizza to see if my friend has recieved it.

Gabbies pizza said "Yes she definetly did, aren't you at the address?"

I then replied "No it was a suprise for my friend".

Then Gabbies pizza was like " OH SUPRISE FOR YOUR FRIEND.. um we wrote something different to what you wanted us to write because we thought it was a suprise from you, to you.

What Gabbies pizza really wrote was "I love shopping online and recieving presents from me, to me"..

I explained that this is not what I wanted at all.

OMG YUM !!!! We just had the large pizza with pasta garlic bread and 1.25 drink, we ordered the fettucini de la gabby and a large half meat lovers and half glenroy pizza and a small garlic pizza. Firstly that pasta was perfection, the sauce was not heavy and the flavours where insane, then the pizza, there is a God, the base was perfectly cooked and the amount of toppings was delicious and then garlic pizza oh dear Lord HEAVEN I'm fussy with my food as I have been in hospitality since the age of 13 and now for over 25 plus years and hubby a chef we have been impressed and then some, our number 1 pizza shop in the northern suburbs.
