Chip serves are huge and really tasty, peas were wonderfully cooked for how i like them (almost mushy but not quite) and a little salty, gravy delicious, garlic sauce delicious. The chicken was very nice as well, lots of flavour and juicy, could've been cooked a little longer as I prefer when the skin is crispier but maybe I just got one that was a bit less cooked. Coleslaw had way too much dressing for me and not really much flavour but the cabbage was still crunchy (i expected it to be soggy). Staff took my order at the counter and it concerned me they didnt write it down at all because as I was ordering one of the staff in the back was yelling at another one that they had forgotten part of an order. Sadly, the worse chips in Melbourne.

The chicken and gravy is really nice - to be honest - but the chips are absolutely disgusting, with a good 25% being inedible due to black/brown/green marks and sour taste.

As a result we had to increase or chip order size to compensate for those that will be thrown away but it is now at the stage when we are eating them, we have to check each chip which says it all really! With so many being thrown away, it devalues the chips and adds to the wastage.

They used to be really nice, but for the past year or so, they have become notably worse and worse.

Downgrading to a 2 Star despite my love of this store simply on the basis that there is a bitter blonde elderly woman working behind the register that has horrible customer service. She clearly doesn't enjoy working there so I don't know why she is, but she has turned me off completely. It's a shame because other than her this was a complete 5 star review.
