Galata Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

We've been ordering from Dom’s on and off for over 20 years, so we’ve seen plenty of owners come and go. Some were great, some… not so much. There were times we stopped ordering altogether because the place wasn’t clean, and the food was just not it. But FINALLY, we’ve got a winner! The new owners are spotless, have freshened up the space with a cool menu board and indoor seating, and serve the best, freshest pizza and salads yet. Everything even tastes clean! They’ve also upgraded their takeaway packaging, which is much nicer than the old aluminium ones.

I’m a loud & proud salad freak and always on the lookout for a yummy Greek salad, but finding one is always hard. But after over a year not ordering from Dom’s as the last owners were really dirty, we thought we'd get my man a pizza from there last week. I got their Greek salad since I am not a huge pizza lover, and since then I’ve bought three more this week alone!! My man also said the pizza was much cleaner and nicer, which I loved because we used to go to Dominos because the last Dom's owners were dirty. But Dominos don't do salads, so I'd always get something I didn't really want but pretend I did, so my man didn't feel bad LOL. So the fact that my man loves Dom's pizzas now means I get my salad fix too! Win win!

I was telling a friend about the new owners at Dom's the other day and they told me that they bought a bunch of pizzas from them a few weeks ago for a pizza party and everyone loved them, so I suppose I am recommending them for your next pizza party too!!...

I wouldn't even give this pizza shop 1 star. The worst customer service ever. Ordered a well done pizza and it wasn't cooked. Still doughy. Called them to tell them I wasn't happy with it and wanted another one made and delivered to be told that it was well done. I told him it wasn't cooked to my liking and that as a paying customer I wanted it to be fixed. The guy who I spoke to was adamant that the pizza was well done and refused to fix the issue. Constantly saying listen to me. You haven't even seen the pizza and your adamant that it's well done. My brother ended up bringing the pizza to him and argued with him and even showed another customer in store the pizza and he even agreed that it wasn't cooked properly. To make matters worse he wouldn't even give a refund and kept the pizza that we paid. Would NOT recommend this...

Usually great and order from here 4-6 times a month as pizza is my favourite food! But recently the order hasn't been as I have specified. First off under no circumstances order a family because it will ALWAYS be SOGGY/UNDERCOOKED/UNAPPEALING The dough feels, looks and tastes like a big piece of Lebanese bread which makes the pizza feel like toppings on a sandwich slice. Also I usually ask for extra chicken and cheese on my bbq chicken order as well as it being well done but recently they have failed to deliver as promised while charging me for the extra toppings (3 dollars). Be very cautious ordering from Dom's Pizza. Safest route I take while ordering from here is now medium bbq chicken well...
