If I could give a minus one Star review, I would! Today I bought a large cup of iced latte at Gloria Jeans Parkmore. One of the staff made it for me and put the large cup on the counter. I took a lid and put it on the cup but it wouldn't close so I had to use a bit of pressure while being careful because i could see the cup was full. What happened next was the cup collapsed! The coffee spilled everywhere and onto my clothes. I was shocked but what made me even more shocked and surprised was how the staff reacted. They acted as if nothing happened!!! Didn't asked me or my kid if we were okay, didn't say sorry, no nothing??? And then you know what they said eventually after a few minutes? "You have to wait 10 minutes"!!! I meant come on! So they think it's basically my fault that the lid didn't fit and the cup collapsed? And to punish me for that, I have to wait 10 minutes for a new cup to be made? What kind of customer service is that??? So I just said you know what? Forget it. And I just walked out. And as far as taste is concerned, don't bother ordering anything other than a normal cup of iced or hot latte, most other things taste awful! Staff is not sufficiently skilled. None of the tables were clean or wiped down, empty cups on some of the tables that i watched other customers move themselves. Chairs unorganised and at random, multiple chairs at one table while others had none. The floor was a mess, rubbish and crumbs everywhere. Was told our order will be brought to us as we asked to dine in, also expecting them to wipe the table that was clearly covered in crumbs when they came, instead was yelled out and had to get ourselves. I came here to use my app voucher for a discount on a drink, only to be told that the QR isn’t going through their system and refused to acknowledge it despite it being clearly noted on the app. And then, they give me a cold blended drink rather than a hot drink which was what I ordered.
I was then told to ring up the main office about my voucher which expires in 2 days. They said that they couldn’t help me fix the issue as the management won’t listen to them and will more likely listen to customer complaints.
