Searched best choley bhature around and this place showed up at a 20 mins drive. While driving through the industrial warehouses and other business on my way, I wasn't sure how the place and food will turn out to be.

Upon reaching n seeing all tables full, I was sure we are in for a surprise, the food aroma in this place was mesmerising. Had to wait a good 10 minutes before we could get a table. While waiting n without checking the menu I thing was already decided the Aaaloo Pattie, which looked great in the hot oven.

So we ordered patties which tasted owsum with the condiments red n green chutnies. Followed by Dahi Bhalla papdi, Chole Bhaturey and Veg Thali. In veg Thali you get options to choose 2 curries we took DalMakhani n Shahi Paneer, and I think Shahi Paneer was the best I personally had in Melbourne in last 11 years at an Indian outlet. Upon leaving we also took 300gms of assorted sweets. And for all this we spent a total of $48 😮

Definitely every $ was worth the flavour and experience. Sweets were good too 👍 and the best of all the wait staff was so helpful, and assisting everyone with a smile that adds an extra star to the service.

Do try this outlet for their...

I am posting my review very late as its been almost 3 weeks now. I bought thali for my self to eat their and a kadai paneer with 2 naans. First time i was gone there , i got my thali with nice black hair in my curries right on the top. I wonder why chef didn’t notice it. Anyways i called the girl to take it back and she took 30 minutes cook me another one. And I don’t know whether that was new one or pretended new one. I wasn’t happy. But anyways i got my takeaway oder with me and came back home. When i open my container of kadai paneer it wasn’t like kadai paneer and because I didn’t have any option that night so i ate it. And i am pregnant and after having that food my tummy got upset and it was full of spices. It made me feel like never eat food from anywhere outside. It was disgusting. I had full containers left on my kitchen bench for 3 days i wanted to take the photo of them and because i was very busy in moving house and couldn’t bother to do it. But i don’t want anyone else to waste their time and money on non edible food. I have proof of my orders. I would never ever...

The place was packed when we last visited so initially didn't get a table. We ordered take away & when we went to the car we saw couple of items missing. We had ordered samosa plate which came with 2 samosas, however only 1 samosa was given to us. We ordered Pattie, which was also missing. We had ordered Puri Choley Halwa but the halwa was forgotton. However, we went back and they were immediately able to give us the missing items. If getting takeaway, make sure you double check all the food items before leaving the shop. The samosas & paneer pakodas were the best out of everything we ordered. The pattie was quite dry and did not have enough potato stuffing. The puris, cholley and halwa were good/average. The teas were quite sweet and milky not strong but overall not bad. Not worth a long drive in but if you're in the area try their samosas, paneer pakodas or some other dishes which might be better than...

Super punjabi vibe here. A little punjab in Melbourne. Food is good too. Laid back ambience. Aloo paratha and some of the chat items are good.

I recently visited Gobind Sweets and I must say, it's a hidden gem in Melbourne! Their paneer kulcha is hands down the best I've ever had—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The aloo paratha is another standout, cooked to perfection and filled generously. The thali is good too, offering a variety of dishes that are both delicious and satisfying. Don't miss out on their rabdi falooda; it's a delightful treat that rounds off the meal wonderfully. The service is great, with friendly and attentive staff making the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and tasty Indian food!
