Gobind Sweets — Restaurant in Melbourne

Very Bad Service. In which restaurant do you go to and have the dish in front of you and you have to pay for the plates!!! . . . I understood when I was told when people buy a thali they ask for a second plate, for which they are asked to pay for the plate then yes, fair enough. But when you buy single menu items, be it starters, or any other item from the menu, then the restaurant is obliged to hand out the plates with the dish. This is for the owners of the restaurant. Write this officially on your menu and then you will see what actions follow!!! Used to be a regular place for me, but now very disappointed with the stupid actions of the owners. The poor waitresses have to suffer and hear all the customers swears etc. This is why i am writing this here for the public to know.

Few things for the owner to note before jumping into conclusions.

In this incident : I did not purchase a thali FYI. A full meal and the reason for this reply with the reasoning I was given.

Second Incident : Whenever I have been to the restaurant, and had a sit in, someone came to the table to give the menu and water etc...that day noone came and as said by the lady its written somewhere . . . my feedback here is why set the precedence in the first place and then deteriorate later . . . when you started the service was good, with good food. . . that time I even congratulated the cook for making the chilli paneer to my liking . . . unfortunately this is not the same either . . . just like the degrading service amongst other things . . . I am just giving my feedback because I am more disappointed than anything else. . .this was such a excellent place for me and I have been a regular customer alongside with my friends . . . but somehow the last three or four times have been really really bad . . . hopefully you take heed of this feedback and act upon them so that you do not loose...

Today I ordered gobi kulcha. I ordered near about 11. It was so tasteless, no spice even you can't see gobi filling in that kulcha. They call.it kulcha, but it is not kulcha, they should call it raw atta serving to customers. Seriously, being Amritsari, I know how it tastes and how it's made. I would like to advice your chef to make it with Plain flour. Or he/she can get knowledge from YouTube or other source how it's made. It is made from plain flour, gobi filling makes in tandoor/oven and then buttered it. Lot of difference between gobi wala kulcha and gobi wali roti. Kulcha you gave me guys was the worst kulcha. I was feeling like eating raw atta. I didn't taste like gobi waala kulcha, feeling like eating kneaded atta. I don't know how people in other comments saying that Amritsari kulcha is delicious and all that. May be those guys are working in there shops and put nice comments about shop in order to make it famous. TRUST ME GUYS, KUCLHA U ARE SELLING IS NOT ACTUAL KUCLHA, U ARE MAKING ROTIS AND SAYING IT'S KULCHA. I WILL REQUEST TO OTHER PEOPLE NOT TO BUY KUCLHA FROM HERE. SERIOUSLY, WORST KULCHA, IF U BUY IT, ULTIMATELY YOU WILL FEEL LIKE EATING KACHHA ATTA. I am so disappointed with the Kulcha. Worst KUCLHA much expensive, no any filling, also, gobi paneer only kachha atta you are eating with chhole. That's the KUCLHA I described above....

I would give zero stars if I could but google won’t allow it. Please improve your customer service. Firstly, they hand you a wrong order. Then, they blame you for their own mistake and asked us to pay again for the new order. Never coming back. We politely said, “We’ll never come back” and the lady on the phone replied, “Dhamki de rhe oo” (Are you threatening me?)...Like seriously????? What does that even mean?

Reply to your response: We never wanted a free side dish...What are you trying to defend? You guys made a wrong order for us. We just wanted our order. We accept our mistake which was we trusted you second time after having a worst experience the first time. Secondly, we have survived only on free food served by your restaurant till now. 😂

And finally your response reflects your quality customer service. It’s easy to put fake 5 star reviews which you recently did😂😂😂😂😂.. Reply: To make things clear from our side as well. We ordered the dish with the sides(Cholle). You guys messed up our order by giving us the wrong order. Then, you wanted us to pay again for the order to get it delivered. In short, we received poor and unprofessional customer service when we tried to contact you. I hope this makes things bit more...
