Sharp plastic pieces which we found in Pizzas from Snappys Pizza and Kebab, 3/439 Grand Blvd, Craigieburn VIC 3064
We have been ordering pizzas from Snappys for for a while now. We used to love snappy's pizza and the variety of options and toppings it provides. So last week (Friday, 08/01/2020) we ordered few pizzas for us. After we started eating the pizzas I found a small sharp plastic piece in "Peri peri paneer pizza". We ignored that but then my wife found another piece and then one more. We were alarmed and we called the snappy's and guy from Snappys told us to text the image of that plastic found in pizza on a particular mobile number. We did that. Then again I found the similar sharp plastic piece in another pizza which was "Lahori Chicken". We were horrified and immediately rushed to the Snappys to make them aware what was happening. We hoped they will accept their mistake and will assure us that they will find the cause of it. But we were shocked at their response. What they reluctantly asked us was whether we would like to have a new pizzas. When we protested and told them that we are not happy with their attitude and don't trust them so would like to have our refund. They said that they don't have refund policy. When we insisted on having refund then finally the guy at the counter gave us $50 and tried to close the matter. We were irritated with this behaviour and we demanded to speak with the manager. But the guy on the counter told us that manager wasn't there and asked us to provide him our phone number so that the manager can give us call. He also tried numerous futile attempts to disown the issue by putting a blame on us indirectly by saying none of our customers have faced this today. After almost arguing for 45 mins or so, finally we got the official recognition of the issue by Snappys by text to the photos which we had shared earlier (till then they didn't even care to respond to that text). These guys called us after 2 hours to tell us that they found that in one of the onion bags they had purchased, was the broken plastic cup and now they are ready to send us our previously ordered pizzas again but we refused... The way they tried not to accept the responsibility was extremely outrageous and insensitive. Even after we had reported the issue, instead of investigating the cause, those guys kept on taking orders without even worrying that this might go to the pizzas ordered by other customers... Read moreWhilst decent at time, Snappys Pizza has failed to be consistent with their quality of food and service. Not so long ago, when I was craving something, I pulled up my phone and logged into the Uber Eats app. Scrolling down the list of local restaurants, I found something that sparked my interest and craving. A large traditional pizza, chips and a kebab. Great, A "locals' dream combo". After placing the order and seeing it accepted and picked up I was excited to indulge into the Locals' Dream Combo, however, ..... However! to my utmost disappointment and disgust, the Local's Dream Combo never arrived. I questioned myself and tried to reassure myself the food was on its way. I patiently waited for 40 mins and consistently checked the front door to see if the food was delivered.
Bing! a notification hit my phone screen. I panicked, my heart was racing. The message: Your order has been canceled. My stomach was feeling it; it went cannibalic. At this time i called the restaurant to follow up on the order and see if they can send another order (I already paid for the first), the staff were not helpful and tried to push me away and told me to call uber eats instead. What a disappointment. I was let down from my local restaurant. Not even a apology or initiative to resend me the order. After spending some more time trying to figure out what happened to my order and contacting uber, I again tried to call Snappys. They were not interested in helping me. All i wanted was the Local dreams' Combo: Kebab, Pizza and Chips.

Read moreMy family and I recently moved into the area. We found this place online and were excited to try one of the many pizzas available. As soon as I got there, I should have known by the state the store was in not to buy anything. A dirty store and staff that were not interested in being there. I went ahead and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but should have listened to the other reviews in hindsight. We took those pizzas I bought home to eat, they were all undercooked and tasted horrible. There was one in particular (photo attached) where we found a fly embedded into the ingredients. Disgusting. We immediately stopped eating and called the store to let them know. We were met with a very rude and uninterested female worker who demanded we send her a photo which we immediately did and she also would not let us speak to the manager. She accused us of having lied about finding the fly and said that could never have happened and hasn't happened before. She then said she would not be refunding the pizza, offering other compensation for next time or even apologising for what had happened. This incident has completely turned me off ever returning and I hope that anyone reading this also doesn't make the mistake that I made. Please find somewhere else where the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the store and the staff customer satisfaction are a top priority. I feel sick just writing...
