Gold Stream Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

Went to Gold Stream last night with other family members for Mother's Day. Unfortunately not enough staff on again to deal with the packed restaurant and even busier take away. At one stage we noticed everyone just had fried rice on their table as they dealt with take away orders. The meals, as they arrived were good, but staggered out to the table at extended intervals, which meant we couldn't share. We just ate the one meal as it arrived with our fried rice, to curb our ravenous tummies. It's a shame because waiting over two hours for your entrees isn't fair and it's not the first time this has happened. We suggested to the waitress,who was delightful, that management knew they had bookings, so should have organised more staff, but the message is continually ignored. food is average at best, not very flavourful for Chinese food. Service is horrible, we barely got any service. Only got our entrees , and never got our food. As we were in a rush, we asked for it to be made for takeaway if it was almost ready or cancelled, so then they had it ready.

They were more focused on their takeaway orders than in-house guests, as literally no one else had food on...
