Rustica Cucina — Restaurant in Melbourne

Amazing service, delicious food, good value. This is our second time here. First time I had the Fettuccini with pesto (so so good!) and my partner had a Mexicana pizza. The pesto could not have been better, and the pizza apparently was really good (I'm veggo). This time I had the eggplant pasta (wonderfully tasty), my partner got the same pizza, and our friend who we brought here ordered the pesto with risotto (this, by the way, proved be wrong when I said the fettuccini I ordered last time could not be better). To top it all off, the service is outstanding. The waitstaff is very attentive and considerate. She brought out parmesan without us even having to ask and then asking if we needed an ashtray (we were outside), to clearing the table so we can enjoy conversation. This is an extremely positive experience and I hope that these two visits weren't a fluke, because we'll definitely be back! We live up in Wheelers Hill, but this dinner plus a late evening beach stop is now a bi-weekly must until colder...

One day after work i go to rustica and i order a parma with chips and salad. I waited 30 to 35mins and they weren't busy so i don't see why that took long but it did. When they gave me my parma it was in a takeaway bag which i didn't say i was taking it home i clearly sat down and waited for it and they simply can't ask me if i want to eat in or take it.

Tip for the place: Get everything organzie and make sure you communicate at work.... if you can't get a simple order right then how would you get a busy night full of orders right. Also that parama was horrible and salad had a weird taste.

Train the staff properly!!!!
