The service was lovely. Sadly their products are not great from my experience. They have admitted to using thickener in an apple crumble cake, so much that at least 75% of the filling was crystallised. It looked beautiful tasted horrible. Not worth $25 for the small cake. They did offer to give me something else but it was too late and I was embarrassed to serve this to my work colleagues. I hope they use this feedback to improve as using honest fresh ingredients is not hard and no need for the thickener. See white in picture of the amount.

Delicious. 5 stars. -Highly, highly recommended. -I love it, kids love it, hubbie loves it. -My local coffee, pie & sweet treat go to. - Kids live the huge sweet pastry, freshly made donuts & massive sweet treat range & fresh cold chicken salad sandwiches are just spot on too. - 100% must try. 100% go here. - Thanks to Seng the pie man, Richie & Eva & Eda & Judy & Amy & all who work here. This is a place, where they get to know you by name, it's a real local, lovely, part of the Mooroolbark community.

We ordered couple of pies, coffee and Custard Cream Slice. OMG, the pies are the worst I have ever tried, strong texture inside out and strong taste. Thatโ€™s not the worst, we ordered Custard Cream Slice but was given Vanilla Slice. Talked to them for clarification and was told we could change that for you by paying the difference. Not even a sorry. What on earth. The girl who took our order said I thought you wanted a Vanilla Slice. What? I specifically ordered a Custard Cream Slice. Does Custard Cream Slice sounds like Vanilla Slice? I mean itโ€™s fine to got it wrong but please do apologise for your mistake. Thanks and itโ€™s the first and final time getting food from you guys. You have lost us...

This is a magnificent bakery and there are many reasons I come here. Firstly, it's affordable. Secondly, the range of food is excellent. Thirdly, the staff are always so nice. Whoever trains the staff - keep it up because they never fail to please. This week it was scones, a mini loaf of bread (for those of us where there are only two people in the house) and of course, a meat pie. Located centrally to Coles and close to a large chain bakery that never seems to be busy, it's a testament of how much people enjoy coming here. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Plenty of parking out the...
