Grand Restaurant is an Indian and Pakistani restaurant located in Caroline Springs and now - Deer Park! They specialise in Hyderabadi cuisine, which has a combination of Arabic, Persian and Turkish influences. 🇮🇳

The menu and venue is 100% halal. They have delicious mockails like Virgin Mojito’s and Strawberry Daquiris with fresh fruit. Theyre popular for their curries, kebab and sharing platters!

⭐️ Signature Platter - our favourites on the platter were the Chicken 65 and the Lamb Shank! But everything was delicious and we had leftovers for days! ➖ Butter Naan ⭐️ Cheese Naan - perfection ✔️ Mutton Fry - so tender! ➖ Veg Korma - the curry was nice, but the vegetables were to soft for my preference. ✔️ Butter Chicken - smooth, a textbook dish. ✔️ Dal Fry Tadka - I don’t usually like dal but this was soo flavourful! ⭐️ Pav Bhaji - my first time trying this dish! Love! A very authentic dish. ✔️ Khubani Ka Meetha - first time trying this, not too sweet, essentially an apricot trifle, a top dessert ✔️ Brownie with Icecream - served on a sizzling plate, how could that possibly not be good!

Grand Restaurant in Deer Park is a hidden gem that combines convenience, quality, and hospitality. Located in a perfect spot with ample parking and easy accessibility, it’s ideal for families, large groups, or celebrations. The interior is spacious and vibrant, making it a great venue for parties. What truly stands out is the exceptional customer service—staff are warm, attentive, and open to customising dishes to suit individual preferences, which is a rare and welcome policy.

The food is of high quality at surprisingly affordable prices. I tried their signature platter, which included a tender lamb shank, crispy chicken 65, and two generous servings of biryani. The portion was massive—easily enough for 4–5 people—and beautifully presented. The selection in desserts were great and the taste was flavorsome.

A suggestion for improvement would be to better manage wait times during late evenings. I visited on a Friday after 10 PM, and although there weren’t many diners, the limited number of staff resulted in slower service. I believe if you could make the dining experience more seamless will elevate the restaurant’s appeal.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s Aqeeqah at Grand Restaurant, Deer Park, with 55 guests, and it was an exceptional experience. The venue was spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming ambience. The staff provided outstanding service, ensuring everything ran smoothly with personalized attention.

The food was phenomenal, featuring authentic Hyderabadi flavours. Highlights included aromatic biryani, a variety of flavorful starters, red chicken, rich lamb curry, haleem was incredibly delicious and freshly baked naans. The desserts were a delight, especially the mango pudding, a beautifully crafted two-tier cake, chocolate mousse, and cupcakes—all freshly made by the restaurant.

A special thanks to the owner and the entire team for their hospitality and dedication. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, even accommodating special requests effortlessly. The event was stress-free, with excellent value for money, and truly memorable.
