I visited Grazeland Melbourne in October 2025 with some friends on an overcast Saturday afternoon. I’d never been before, but getting there was easy with both free parking on the street and paid lots right next to the venue. It’s also accessible for everyone, and entry was only $4 each, which we paid on arrival. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly, and the cleaners kept the place spotless all day. The venue is huge, divided into four main sections filled with food, drinks, and desserts, plus a cute shopping zone where you can grab Grazeland merch and kids’ toys. There’s even a small arcade packed with fun games and a deck out the back that offers a gorgeous view of the city skyline. You can also book private marquees for events, which would be amazing for parties.
We arrived around 1.30pm and started exploring. There was live entertainment on the main stage, which had a relaxed weekend vibe. Some of my friends had been before for the New Year’s Eve event and said it was packed, with great live music but long queues and a few stalls closing before midnight. Luckily for us, the overcast weather meant fewer crowds and short lines which was perfect for trying a bit of everything!
We kicked off with drinks, trying some fresh juices and smoothies. My tropical juice (mango and passionfruit) was so refreshing and I’m a sucker for anything mango. I also tried my friend’s blood orange gelato drink, which had a slushie consistency and was absolutely delicious. Next up was food, and I went for the Italian calamari, which was cooked beautifully, tender, not chewy, and full of flavour. It cost around $20, and the juice was about $10, so prices are definitely on the higher side. My friend got the ‘Miss Piggy’ mac and cheese topped with bacon and said it was the best mac and cheese she’s ever had. Another friend tried the fluffy pancakes from the dessert section and wouldn’t stop raving about them.
We moved between different areas as we ate and each section had its own distinct vibe. One had live music, another had the arcade, and the deck was quieter but perfect for chilling out and enjoying the skyline views. There were plenty of tables and chairs for big or small groups, which made it easy to find a spot. If you plan to try lots of food, I’d recommend going with friends and sharing dishes as the servings are generous, but sampling a variety gets pricey fast. Also, bring a water bottle, as I couldn’t find any free water stations at the vendors.
We wrapped up around 4 pm after a few hours of eating, drinking, and exploring. It’s an easy walk to Spotswood Station, so public transport is definitely an option. Overall, I loved my first visit to Grazeland! It’s vibrant, friendly, and full of great food and entertainment. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or just flying solo for a foodie adventure, it’s a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in...
Read more@Grazeland.Melbourne, a playground for foodies and I certainly dined out! Started with a seafood paella @QueRico_Paellas which was delicious. Well cooked rice, squeeze of lemon, and lots of tender seafood. Then off to Bao Down for a crispy chicken bao. Love the bao, very crispy coating surrounding tender chicken, really hit the spot. Then for dessert tried the Kyoto Nikishi macha macha from Japanese Souffle Pancakes. Wow! What a creation. The taste of pancake, the lightness of a souffle, an amazing sauce and the macha flavour with red beans made for a very tasty finish to a wonderful day out!
Beautiful weather for a visit to @Grazeland.Melbourne having a good look round before settling on:
@Smokeworks.Grazeland for box 3 - fries loaded with 18hr smoked brisket, coleslaw topped with ranch dressing, Smokeworks signature BBQ sauce, cucumber, pickled slices, & pickled hot peppers. The smoked brisket has a lovely char and is super tender, falling apart with the wooden fork, great flavour and juicy. The fries are delicious. Slaw needs some sauce.
@AnatoliaTantuniGozleme - beef tantuni real Turkish street kebab. A spicy Turkish street food involving finely chopped beef, this version in a crispy bread roll offered up tender beef but I didn't really get much flavour and was disappointed. Middle Eastern food has delicious flavours but this seemed a bit bland.
@Toyoki.Souffle for dessert getting the tiramisu version. I'd visited here last time trying the matcha. The souffle pancakes are light and airy and delicious, smothered in a cacao sauce and topped with finely cut crunchy peanuts, but I fail to see where any tiramisu flavour is found.
Nice outing on a rare sunny day, at some of the eateries the staff didn't seem too interested. Food can be a bit hit and miss.

Read moreThis place only opened in March so my girlfriend and I went to check it out to see what the social media hype was about. We took public transport and its very conveniently located a short walk from Spotswood station.
It's a 2.50 charge to get in. Is it worth it- it depends... There is a huge selection of food, dozens of stalls, all sorts of cuisines and dishes represented, thai, Indonesian, polish perogi, pasta, oyster and lobster, burgers, fried chicken, korean, etc.
We chose to get the Suya African BBQ plate (15) and the hot Chicken tenders with tater tots, blue cheese sauce and iced teas from Charcella (around 35). I thought the BBQ was very good- the meat tasty (though i later found out you can also ask for sauce) and portion size surprisingly packed in that tray. The fried chicken was just okay- in my opinion Belles is better in terms of flavor and crispness and just better value for money. Food was quick to arrive though.
Chimnutz chimney cakes were a highlight. The 14 dollar dessert is well worth it, a real treat stuffed with ice cream, brownie, cream, choc top and a delicious chimney cake as well. The 12 dollar crioli was hyped but only okay imo- my gf pointed out its basically a beignet. The choc sauce on the banana encased in fried dough tastes a bit dry, but maybe it was just the smores flavour we chose.
Overall, I'd say presentation presides over value for money at Grazeland. The huge selection of food is very impressive, and the food is made for instagram. But the price imo is a bit high for the quality you receive. This is not to mention other very hyped items we skipped like lobster rolls (20), and flying noodles (18- for normal noodles that are held up by a fork and apple). We did enjoy our time here and would recommend it as a once off and for tourists but not sure if we...
