Green Field — Restaurant in Melbourne

Came in a party of 10 to have dinner on Saturday the 9th of February. Friends ordered the banquets for 8 people, partner and I ordered separate dishes. My dish was the vegetable phó while partner's was lemon temptation. The dishes for the banquet came slowly throughout the evening. My partner's arrived at the 40+ minute mark.

After 50 minutes, I flagged a waitress and asked her about my noodles. She said, "Sorry, I'm very busy" and walked away. I thought she would come back when she was done with her more important tasks, but instead she: Seated new diners Wiped down empty tables and put out menus for them Brought food to other tables Spoke with her co-workers in her downtime

She did not return to follow up, did not speak to one of her less-busy coworkers to get them to follow up, and seemed more concerned with paying attention to diners who had yet to even order instead of assisting someone who had been waiting.

At the 60-minute mark, I tried asking a different waitress.

In total, it took 70 minutes to get a bowl of vegetable phó at this Vietnamese restaurant.

Aside from the bad service, the floors of the restaurant were oily, tables were sticky, and some of the spoons/plates were dirty.

A Vietnamese restaurant serving a large range of dishes, I wanted something light and its hard to go past the vermicelli noodle salad in different versions, I chose the lemongrass chicken. It was very busy so took a little time to arrive but the wait was worth it.

Pour the sweet chilli dressing, get in there with the chop sticks and mix like hell. Then eat and enjoy the delicious tender lightly scented lemongrass chicken, soft vermicelli noodles, crunch of nuts and beansprouts, carrot, cucumber and mint. Lovely refreshing meal which just keeps you coming back for more. Excellent value meal.

Underwhelming and when they decided to start cleaning / packing up they made it very clear they didn’t want us to stay there! There were still people who had literally just got their meals.

I’ve been here a few times a few years ago but again nothing special. I would definitely go elsewhere.

I ordered the Pho tonight and it was very underwhelming, barely any chicken and just nothing special about it.

Toilets / Bathroom need a thorough clean or honestly even just a basic clean.

Also the place was so loud, obviously great that people are having a good ol chat but there is nothing to absorb the sound so it’s just a loud, annoying racket while you eat.
