Extremely disappointing! Arrived at venue for a family bday celebration, -Rude lady at reception upon signing in was argumentative and cold. -Husband stood in line to order our family meals, only to have a guy standing to the left of him only to be saying something under his breath. Another staff member then spoke to him asking him where are you in the line? He responded where you are meant to be. He then made a rude comment to my husband saying this is where it is, my husband responded it doesn’t say anything about a line etc; The guy then stood leaning on the counter trying to be somewhat intimidating. They lady responded he knows where the line used to be etc; because he works here. What the? How embarrassing and petty that a staff member would behave like that. Two level RSL with Bistro and Function rooms and Decks on upper level with Members lounge and decks with Sporting lounge , with some Slots. Bistro is great with local views and good choices, members lounge and Bar is a happy place and meals can be ordered and delivered here from bistro or just have a Bar menu feed or even a bowl of chips or sandwiches ordered at Bar. Secret Pool room in the dungeon can be booked and used for free on certain nights. Bistro caters for kids and parking is at rear with on street parking available in less busy times. Our social group holds regular quarterly meetings there, and has done for many years. Many times our regular pre-set dates have been altered due to double bookings.

Christmas lunch today was moved from yesterday due to a double booking. Over 100 people cramped into half the function room due to another booking.

One staff member behind the bar and taking meal orders. This occurs at every function. It's not as if they have been caught short, it is always poor rostering. This also leads to many meals not being available because they have not catered for the numbers.

More often than not the servings are small and the quality a lot to be desired.
