If I could buy shares in this place I would. Even now that I moved away from Greensborough I make the trek out here just for their bagels. I’m honestly so tired of “bagel” cafes and you go there and it’s just a bread roll in the shape of a circle, not actually a real bagel, not boiled, not chewy, nothing like real bagels, just plain bread masquerading as a bagel! These guys know real bagels. Chewy and beautiful and tasty! Plus, they put cream cheese on their breakky bagel which is mouthwatering like nothing else. Fast service, never a line, and the bagels and croissants are amazing! My kiddo loves a freshly toasted ham and cheese croissant, and I love their blueberry bagels. The service is friendly and accommodating, happy to help me find exactly what I want for my picky tastes. I honestly had low expectations for the coffee, but it was fantastic. They use Inglewood roasters for their beans, and the barista knows what he's doing, because it came out perfectly balanced. In the morning there is often parking in front, so it's a quick stop and run in as you come down the hill. Otherwise, there's parking right behind so you still don't have to cross any roads if you don't want to.

Breakfast 02/07/22 LOCAL BAGELS!! I love bagels and genuinely wanted to open a local bagel place but Prelude is the perfect spot for me! Great selection of bagels, their coffee was spot on, good selection of cakes and other breakfast options beyond bagels and the staff are incredible, really friendly young owner couldn’t be happier for their rightfully deserved success.
