Grill'd Burgers - Chirnside Park — Restaurant in Melbourne

Dear management of Grill'd restaurant in Chirnside Park,

I am writing to share my deep disappointment in the quality of the food and service in your establishment. Not only am I a loyal customer of Grill'd restaurants all over Australia where I've lived and worked for the last decade but I have for many years told people about the Grill'd service and taste.

This opinion of your brand was rudely shattered last week when I ordered a large meal for my grandparents and cousins when visiting them in the area.

As a premium-priced restaurant, I expect quality from Grill'd and I have high expectations of your until now favourite brand.

I was horrified last week with what I received and I cannot understand how your staff felt that it was in any way suitable to send me the order in the state it was in

Specifically, I would like to bring to your attention the profound disappointment with the zucchini fried chips/wedges I ordered. They were entirely inedible. Rather than being a delightful and healthy side choice, the chips/wedges were little more than scraps and fragments of zucchini covered in fat and oil. Essentially, it was a tub of grease and scrapings that I would not even consider worth $1.

The delivery also took much longer than promised - it originally said it would take 45 minutes but in fact it took 85 minutes and I watched the time that the driver waited at your restaurant and it exceeded the acceptable waiting time

I hope you take my review with the utmost transparency and work to correct the issues I experienced for the future of your customers.

my experience here was average compared to other times i’ve been here, i started off walking in already knowing what i would like, i asked “could i please have 2 beef dynamic duos” she replies “yes” she then goes on saying just to be sure would you like the duo or the cheeseburger i looked at her confused because i asked for a dynamic duo not a cheese burger, it was about 20 minute wait. our order arrived and it came with a plain cheese burger, i said to the lady “excuse me this is not what i ordered” she replied to me and said yes this is and i tried to tell her no and she tried to correct me, as she came back with the rest of our order i asked her once again this is not what i asked for, i showed her exactly what i ordered and she tried to correct me like i didn’t know what i was ordering, i had said it once again and she took out burgers and came out with the same burgers but with the lettuce and carrot stuffed into it, she blamed it on the wait but stuffing up a simple order like that...

Stepped out to Grill’d Tonight to enjoy a healthy burger. I had no idea what I’d like and a lovely girl by the name of Lily at the cash register was extremely helpful 2nd was able to provide me with a healthy option that I was looking for. She was really bright and bubbly and really did a great job of helping me to choose something on your menu.

I couldn’t sit down and enjoy as I was only in a 15 minute parking bay so I had it ordered to take out, and the young gentleman who served me Lucas was an absolute delight. Lucas was extremely lovely and made me smile.

It was fantastic to see an organisation living their values and showing that they don’t only say it but actually do employee people with disabilities.
