Little gem in the area.

On first look, the place and menu appear just like any other conventional Cafe. Give it a try and you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and coffee served.

It is the attention to small details. Eggs on toast is still eggs on toast but the scrambled eggs is just right on the edge of smoothness, toast is crispy on the side yet not dry in the middle. Haloumi cheese and rosti are both perfectly fried.

The wife had the mushroom magic that has all the standard ingredients. I tried a little and it tasted better than any other mushroom toast I had eaten before. Can't explain what are different. The kid's meal beef burger was made from wagyu and I could see the burger cooked to medium well after cutting it to share. Tender meat that can rival any of the popular burger joints. The chips are still chips but they were just tastier than most cafe, even after it turned cold.

I reckon attention to details really do make a difference to the standard...

Usually my go-to for morning coffee and something sweet- the owner, Harry, bakes amazing croissants, donuts and other goodies fresh every day and it's very hard to resist the selection! I strongly believe the pastries are comparable with those I've enjoyed in Paris at famous patisseries like Stohrer and there's no need for me to waste time going to Lune with Haytch around the corner! I recommend Haytch to everyone in the area and I consider myself very lucky to have such convenient access to perfectly laminated, buttery croissants and pastries. If you're going to take advantage of the ability to visit friends and family at home again, why not treat them to a box of beautifully presented sweets from Haytch?
