HIGHWAY MILKBAR & TAKEAWAY — Restaurant in Melbourne

This place appears to be owned/run by Asians and has good basic, reasonably priced food and drinks. They have this "Cookies" chicken which is fried and available in a couple of piece sizes and 3 levels of spiciness. Mmmmmmmmmm. It is probably the best tasting fried chicken I've had (other than KFC). They have it available at certain times of the day and sell it as pieces but also put in a burger. Mmmmmmmm. They sell fresh sandwiches too that are packed with ingredients and a selection of toasties. They have outdoor seating (covered) and is easily accessible from the highway with a few parking spots but also room for large vehicles to park in the service lane out the front. Would thoroughly recommend this...

Had a couple of burgers from this place, first one was a spicy chicken burger, and it was FANTASTIC, really enjoyed it, and the staff were super friendly and it was very well priced, the second burger i had a few days later was alrighr, nothing special, but passable at least, again the staff were very friendly and the burger was well priced. Can request fresh cooked to order (which was nice) but I hate getting half a chicken schnitzel when you order a chicken schnitzel sandwich. Paying extra 50 cents for the smallest serving of lettuce in the sandwich was also ridiculous. Won't...
