This Hungry Jack's is an absolute let down!
The whole experience (for me) starts with the drive-through. You pull up to the speaker and you hear a very ordinary 'Welcome to Hungry Jack's, blerghufpfft..' You then sit there for a few seconds wondering if you were asked to order, wait for a moment while the person finishes 'speaking' with a customer, or whether you were just insulted.. As these few moments quickly become unbearable, you decide to just take a shot and order anyway. You then clearly state what it is you want, the speaker usually responds in a curious manner as to clarify exactly what it is that you ordered, as to not make a mistake, so you either repeat your order, or pretend that you heard/understood what the speaker said, then you precede to the first window.
Upon arrival at the first window, you are greeted with either a great attitude, or someone who comes across like they need to see a professional about their social skills and common courtisies. You then repeat your order, because somewhere between the speaker experience you just had and your journey to the first window, your order has evolved into something quite different.. Upon mosaically reviving the diminished and fragmented workings of your order, you feel somewhat relieved to have spoken directly with the person instead of through a speaker.
As you begin to make your way to the second and 'final' window, you feel great, you can see people walking about and doing all the usual things you would expect staff members of Hungry Jack's to be doing.. Then, you as are handed a package by a staff member with muttered words that somewhat contain the same amount of syllables in a very familiar fashion that you would assume is your order, you accept the package and believe that after everything that has happened so far, you have been given specifically what you asked for. Then, as you place your food beside you, you either check to see if it is in fact what you asked for, or you turn your head back to the staff member to be kind enough to show them good manners in a typically Australian way and bid them a good day only to find that you have either been given the wrong contents and they simply lack the social skills needed to function in everyday Australia, or, you have been given the correct contents of which you asked and the staff member lacks the social skills needed to function in everyday Australia.
What happened to manners?
This is the average experience of service. Then there's the food.. The catch phrase 'The burgers are better at Hungry Jack's' does not apply here. Even when the order is correct, one could relate the experience of receiving a nicely made burger from this franchise to perhaps winning the lottery.
This is a result of multiple times I have bought food here, and I really don't like wasting my time to give reviews, let alone bad ones, but after the last few times of repeated bad behaviour, I...
Read moreSo sorry to Hungry Jack's Parkmore including their employee Miranda (saw her name tag) for such a late review - and I will after this place my 100% positive feedback on the Hungry Jack's website as well - been meaning to type it up a whole lot sooner, I have no excuse.
On the King's Official Birthday public holiday on Monday 10th June 2024, my friend/godfather Peter generously shouted me a large Big Jack combo and got himself a small cheeseburger combo at Hungry Jack's Parkmore. Both Peter and I thank both Miranda and the Hungry Jack's Parkmore crew for both the top notch service and tge top notch food we had on that day, we both are so grateful to her and them! According to the receipt dated 10/06/2024, the time of purchase was 11:45am exactly and our Order Number was 324, and our order was taken by Miranda at the counter.
Miranda and the Hungry Jack's Parkmore crew deserved to be acknowledgement and rewarded for their fast and friendly service and for preparing our food so quickly and nicely!
Peter's cheeseburger was had the same smoky taste that only flame grilling can bring, he loved it! And I was very excited to be, for the first time ever, trying the Big Jack and it lived up to the hype, tastes like a certain Hungry Jack competitor's burger with a very similar name but with the added bonus of that trademark Hungry Jack's smoky flame grilled flavour! And the chips we had in our combos were so delicious!
Next time anyone visits Parkmore Shopping Centre, I very highly recommend Hungry Jack's Parkmore located right next to it and dine in or takeaway their absolutely delicious food, including the Big Jack, you'll love it and you'll love their service! Very well done to the crew there including Miranda!
Last but not least, what unbelievably stylish decor Hungry Jack's Parkmore has! My deepest compliments on how retro modern and eye catching it is, kept immaculately clean and tidy, and with such beautiful design flourishes like low profile chair with cushions that look green/red/brown/yellow pattern, it is such a colour, warm and inviting atmosphere and environment that makes anyone want to dine in, thank you so much to Hungry Jack's Parkmore and their crew including Miranda, tremendously appreciated they all deserve yo he commended and rewarded for all that too! Peter and I super look forward to...
Read moreCustomer service is very poor. I went through drive thru last night. The guy who was was there ( looked like indian) was talking to me like rubbish. I bought a 2 stunner meals and upgraded the cheese burger for a cheesy cheesy. So it went from 5.95 to 6.95. And I also bought 2 bbq cheese burgers. All added up to 19 dollars. I asked him, "so you did upgrade the stunner meal right " he said. " the stunner meal is the same. (5.95). I asked him then how can it be 19 dollars? 5.95+ 5.95 + 2.50 + 2.50 = 19 ? He added up and he said to me. I don't know you wanna buy or leave? I asked just tell me why extra 2 dollars. He said its tax 🤣. I said him. " bud, tax is already added to the meals Extra 2 dollars cannot add up like that for TAX. I called the manager. He looked and said.." mate the meals have been upgraded that is why extra 2 dollars" thats was it.. that indian guy said that the meals wasnt upgraded.. so afterall they were. After the manager left I said." So you see bud, it is not the TAX. It js just the burger upgrade. And then AGAIN HE WAS LIKE. "no no it is tax !" Even after manager properly explained. He asked me again do I wanna buy or leave. I said I will buy because I drove 10kms to go there. He threw the receipt at me. One fell out of the car as well.
Just saying that, I spend around 200-250 dollars each month at hungry jacks. Because I buy my core workers food. I used to come here alot. I love the other workers.. but anyway. I will not come again. Ever to this hungry jacks. I come to eat happily to hungry jacks. Not to deal with negative energy. More of angry...
