Hungry Jack's Burgers Bundoora — Restaurant in Melbourne

7pm wed ...... The serving counter from customer side was dirty ...around and in front of both POS ...looked really bad ..old greasy dirt. i mentioned to girl to mention to manager ...she acknowledged it but didnt clean it or mention to manager ...even though she and manager were there and she was standing waiting for my meal to be done .with him manager next to her.. I had said have here ..but was served in bag . When i went find a table ...cnr booth .. Table dirty ..seat with lettace stuck to it . And all surrounding tables and seats filthy with recent and obvious old marks ... I went and asked ..for manager ...so i could get it cleaned ...1st i mentioned the dirty counter ...he pointed out that marks were from equipment being moved ...but i then ran my fingers in front of monitor on bench and showed him ..my filthy fingertips ...he didnt apologize or say we will clean it ..he nodded and said yeah yeah ... i then pointed out I deal with customers all the time and would have like to have heard ..sorry ..you're right ...we will clean it up .. i wasn't loud .or rude but not impressed at all .....he didnt seem care at all . Then i said I come up because I wish to sit at the booth over there but it is filthy and all the others around are dirty too ... Even the floor .... And I needed some one to clean it .. He then said i will get someone to clean it .. No apology. .. I personally think staff need to told they must think as if they were the customer. would they be happy I am very sure if they came with their friend to their place of work ..they would and should be embarrassed at the condition of this store ... He did send the girl to clean ..table etc. She had a filthy cloth and spray ..she wiped seats 1st ..and then put some spray on and Then wiped table that i am going put my arms ..Food etc on ..no clean cloth to dry it ..Left it wet ...both seat and table ....come on ... i waited till dried. You wouldn't want to sit with it like that ...would you ...??? Hungry Jacks is not fancy ...but It should be clean ... !! After a while girl was sent out to clean some more tables etc ... But this dirty one cloth and spray ...just wiped the dirty wet from one place to another ..and there are still marks left especially around the white bench seats ..where our legs go ... Whether i am 1st customer or last the place should look decent not grubby unkept Sticky and dirty ...thats not good ...its gross ... its unhygienic. And not nice for a customer. .. someone needs to teach Manager and staff about keeping it clean .. .not just selling food .... My food has gone cold now ...by thats my fault for putting cleanliness before eating .. I spoke to other friends ..they said ..oh yeah that Hungry Jacks is...

The 'YUMBO' was an interesting, albeit disappointing, experience. There was a small wait to receive my 3$ treat as the kitchen staff didn't have any prepared, when his manager asked why there would be a wait the kitchen hand replied poignantly with "I didn't think anyone would order one".

After this brief interlude I received my ham filled comeuppance much like R. Kelly's 'Remix to Ignition': hot and fresh out the kitchen. It wasn't much to look at, in all honesty I very nearly didn't eat it because of it's unappetizing appearance, but my mother always told me 'waste not, want not' and so I did not waste it.

The taste of the burger was as you'd imagine, ham and cheese in bread can truly only go so far. But the texture was what really set the 'YUMBO' apart from other, far better, ham and cheese varieties. The combination of a lightly toasted, somewhat chewy bun, 5 incredibly cold, refrigerated pieces of ham and melted, plastic cheese acting as a glue for the both was a combination that truly sickened and upset me.

All in all I think my life is worse now for having eaten a 'YUMBO' and I don't believe I ever shall again, nor do I recommend the experience to any person possessing either taste buds or a...

Did not pay attention to the young ladies name as she was that rude I just wanted to be away from her. Shorty lady with bleach blonde hair is the best description I can give. Wow have I not met a more rude person in my life, calling out numbers of orders and literally dropping order on table from 15cm not placing it or handing it to the paying customers, one old lady asked for a straw she said check the bag nothing else. The straw was not in her bag so she signed grabbed a draw a slid it at her didn’t say sorry or here just slid it at her bag a walked off. As we were eating a small family sat next to us and the wife was complaining to her husband about her experience with this lady which we didn’t see we were eating at that moment. So in the space of 20 mins I witnessed 2 unhappy customers including myself and another family after me.

Unbelievable and u forgivable. If customer service isn’t for you maybe a career without customer interaction maybe a...
