Huntly Kebabs & Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had ordered from here numerous times before on uber eats and take aways in person. I never had an issue until now. Ordered the kebab combo and was charged $1 extra to cook the onions in the kebab which no other establishment has ever charged me for. I asked him to refund the $1 and forget about cooking the onions or putting them raw into the kebab. He did not seem happy, but obliged. He asked me if I wanted salt on my chips and I replied, ,"Just a bit, please". He seemed to put a lot of salt on the chips.I only ate the food once I was far away from the establishment, but sadly realised that the chips were now inedible due to the excessive amount of salt he had placed on them. The chips were a weird yellow colour and extremely bad quality to begin with, coupled with the overbearing salty taste which forced me to immediately chuck them out. There is no doubt in my mind that he deliberately put too much salt on the chips, because I was unhappy to pay extra for nothing really. Used to come here all the time, but it seems the owners might of changed so you can’t use the reviews anymore. Firstly, I got a $15 hsp and they use the super shallow lid side of the box to stooge me out of my money’s worth. Can’t advertise that box size and use the lid as the tray so it’s 50% air.

They were super delayed as the chicken was not cooked yet (which is fair and I don’t mind) but I can’t believe they did this to me. They seem to also of changed the type of chips to a way lower grade which is just sad.

Just moved to the area so decided to try this place. I hate underfilled kebabs, and this place was very generous. I've only tried the lamb kebab so far, but it was great. A good balance of meat and salad, without being stingy on the meat. The chips were good, not over or underdone and still crispy with an appropriate amount of seasoning. It was also quick, though I visited at a slightly off peak time. Lamb kebab + chips + can was $19. Probably didnt need the chips - the lamb kebab was filling enough. Will definitely come back.
