JUN25 UPDATED REVIEW - A DIFFERENT RESTAURANT Summary: Disappointing experience - Mediocre Food, regular level of service, not acceptable: staff member on a very loud video call with someone on the next table having their meal, then joined by a group of 3 more staff, seated at a table next to us, loud and noisy. leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to a dining experience.

We ordered chicken dum biryani, the rice was warm and the chicken COLD!! Staff apologised and took away our food with an offer to REHEAT the biryani. :) The mutton dum biryani was more full of spices than chilli and not really tasty. Sad to see a top Indian restaurant’s drop. Hope they pick it up because a Brand name can only take you that far!!

SG(GH) is a great Indian restaurant. Very consistent with their yummy food and get it right all the time. Menu: The menu has the all.time.classics like Dum Biryani etc but check out some great innovations with the starters. (Crispy Fix, Prawn, chicken 555). Breads: Fresh...that's not common..soft and yummy Naans. Stand Apart Note: Veg or Non Veg is cooked authentically with its unique flavour. It''s not a One Base FIX!! Convenience: Ordering is simple with a great app and the food comes quick. Heartbreak: when your favourite Chicken Dum Biryani is sold out when you get there. 💔 no early warning on this folks (hint hint 🙄) Parking can be scarce at busy times so get ready to walk a few minutes (burn the added calories 😉).

What can we do better? Note to owner/manager: 7th May 2023 visit: fix the latch to the Ladoes toilet door asap, thanks.

What to order? You have to visit a few times amd work your way through the menu cause everything is great. Good for a casual visit or gorgeous a special.occasion.

Surely a shining star for Indian cuisine...

I had been to this restaurant couple of times and I absolutely love the food, it's Authentic Indian food. I bet all the foodies out there would love to taste their food. I would love to give 2 stars for this restaurant only for the quality and taste of the food, but I really wish it could get all 5 stars for the service and the delivery time. I would like to share my most recent experience when I visited Swagath Grand on Friday (7th March 2021). On this lovely afternoon, the restaurant was not very busy as it was almost 4 pm. We ordered our food just within 5 minutes of the greeting and seating. But we had to wait for about 30 minutes for the soup and starters; and another 30 minutes for our main course to arrive. That was very disappointing when we travel for 45 minutes just to have food that is satisfying to our hearts and tummy, but we end up parcelling food instead of dinning in. I would like to give a constructive feedback for the restaurant that please improve the quality of your service as your food. Customers come to your restaurant with loads of hope to eat food that is much closer to their hearts, please don't keep them waiting. Also, would love to recommend some dishes for my foodies out there - Chicken Manchow Soup, All the rice variety, Chicken 65, Paneer Chilly. I have been a regular customer here and I have loved this restaurant since it was a small restaurant next to the station but the experience i had today had been the worst i ever had. I came at 10:00 pm on 27th Nov and sat at table 6.

When i entered the restaurant there were empty tables but all of them were dirty which took them 10 mins to clean up. Then i ordered my regular order which is Dahi Puri, Paneer 65 , Mysore masala dosa and Chicken 65 biryani.

The Dahi puri was the biggest upset as they just served me 5 puri which were flat with only a little chutney and dahi and alot of sev with no garnishing . It’s was so dry it seems like a downgraded version in street vendor.

The paneer 65 and Biryani as good but not in par with previous taste.

With the dosa they didn’t have coconut chutney and had to ask for everything like the Raita and mint chutney to after the food was already here. Even after asking the staff made face like I had asked for their liver.

Worst part comes when i tried to have a conversation with the cashier about my experience and she was eating right in front of me at the register. She was biting onto the food mid conversation and didn’t answer my question or even said sorry about the experience and just acted like pay and go
