I placed a takeaway order on May 20, 2025, at around 10:26 PM, hoping for a satisfying meal of Chicken Malai Tikka and Mutton Biryani. Unfortunately, the experience left me very disappointed. The Chicken Malai Tikka was supposed to come with 8 pieces, but I only received 6 and a half pieces. There was no “malai” (creaminess) whatsoever, and about 40% of the dish was overwhelmed with excessive masala, masking any authentic flavor. It didn’t taste like Chicken Malai Tikka at all. The Mutton Biryani was even worse. It was mostly goat bones with barely 5g of actual meat. For a dish priced at $19.00, I expected at least 15-20% meat content. If they need to increase the price to improve quality, I’d understand, but this was simply unacceptable for the cost. There was only one staff member present when I picked up my order, which might explain some of the issues. However, I couldn’t help but notice that this Indian staff member gave off a vibe of looking down on people from his own ethnicity, almost like internalized racism. It made the interaction quite uncomfortable. I have a feeling that if I had dined in instead of opting for takeaway, I might have received better food, as it seems more attention is given to in-house orders. Still, for a $41.20 bill, I expected much better quality and service. I hope they improve their standards, especially for takeaway orders, because this experience was far from satisfactory.

I recently visited Tandoori Zaika and had a neutral experience. Here's my feedback: Food: 2.5/5 Paneer Kadhai: The curry could have been better. While the paneer was enjoyable, the gravy lacked freshness and had a sour taste. Butter Naan: Disappointingly, it had very little butter. Photo attached. Service: 3/5 Staff hospitality was average. They weren't particularly welcoming (kinda neutral), lacking a smile. I am assuming they must be tired as I visited after 9pm. Overall, Tandoori Zaika was an average dining experience. While it wasn't bad, there's significant room for improvement in both food quality and service. Pros: Enjoyable paneer Cons: Subpar curry, insufficient butter on naan Would recommend improvements.

My worst ever experience at an Indian restaurant in Australia. I’ve tried 50+ Indian restaurants and never felt the need to leave a negative review — until now. From the moment I walked in, the experience went downhill. The tall guy at the front scanned me head to toe, more interested in what I was wearing than welcoming a customer. Then, with a heavy attitude, he handed me the menu. But the worst part? I ordered Goat biryani… and they tried to mix chicken breast(see picture) as goat meat. Seriously? 😅 and mostly goat bones no meat I ordered Samosa Chat and Goat biryani as was too hungry both was tasteless 2/5 I'm not sure how these guys got 4.7 ⭐️

My daughter and I had dinner here this evening. The service was impeccable. The maître de was very attentive. The food was very delicious. We ordered cauliflower Manchurian which was so tasty. Then we ordered malai kofta again another hit. To accompany these dishes we had garlic nan and it was soft, pillowy and super tasty. We were still hungry so we ordered samosas, they were so lovely. For dessert I had gulab jamun, yummy. My daughter had rasmalai, she said it was ok. As we come from Calcutta/Kolkata, they make the best rasmalai in the world. Now all in all it was a great evening, excellent service and superb food. Compliments to the Chef.

This evening 21 January went for dinner. The food was truly delicious. Tried.a new dish mushrooms with peas. It was very tasty indeed albeit a bit chilli hot (not used to such hot food)lm we had various dishes. The owners are very keen to hear our views and get feedback which makes a nice change. Extremely pleasant young men from haryana. Thank you again, ...

WARNING DANGER DANGER, CELIACS BEWARE!!!!!! Nice family business, seems clean. Almost all items are GF, and they bent over backwards to accommodate FODMAP, BUT one brother clearly does not understand what celiac/gluten intolerances etc... tried to sell me naan. Takeaway on a number of occasions, $55 and queried menu, Chef came out to help but I didn't understand his accent... I'm a bit slow with accents. Brother assisting and taking my order assured me the samosas were gf. 20+ vomiting over 4+ hours and NO REFUND! EXTREMELY ILL, and unwell for days afterwards(At least they apologised, but was not going to mark their menu to avoid mishaps in future.

UNFORTUNATELY IT IS COMMON, TO NOT RECOMPENSE MISHAPS, I have only known 2 restaurants in 20 years that have bothered, and many never even apologise.

I wish their...
