Hello reg customer here .on the 26 October I went to pick up my order from this place the manager was the rudest person IV ever spoken to to order food. I am a regular customer I spend at least 100 dollers at this place a week that's 5200 dollers a year and I'm telling you you have now lost me as a customer I paid for my food on uber eats had to go to Smith St for something so I thorght I might order food from uber eats and pick it up sins I was in the area ....my gf ordered the food on her phone and I went to pick it up. she shared the link for our uber eats order with me over text so I arrived showed the manager that was standing at the register the link I was sent and before anything I received a very rude blunt NO .not instructions on what I needed to do or show him .my girlfriend sed she could slide the bar on the app once I arrived and she did so the guy still refused to give me my food and was talking to me like I was trying to scam him or something I felt like he judged me for my dress sence .I had to ask him 10 times what I needed to show him .IV read out my order from memory .showed him my receipt. told him the name of the order and still all I got was a very rude reply .I had to yell and make a big seen just to receive my food ..dear hux ownership get rid of this guy IV worked in the industry for years and when I was 17 and inroled in a course called h.e.a.t "hospitality education and training" where I worked my 2 weeks work experience in the kitchen in Port Melbourne at a restaurant CHEF Daniel Wilson was head chef of at the time. Read moreI have just experienced he most appalling encounter at your collingwood store. I signed up to the app on my phone. Ordered the meal as a Take-away whilst in my car. I left the car and purchased a latte at Good Vibes next door. They ask me questions about my unusual mask to discover I am a theater nurse who is on her only day off work this week. They could not stop falling over themselves to be kind. I walked to your store and sat waiting for my burger to be ready on the bench out front. A girl came out of the shop saying how dare I sit on the bench drinking a coffee, the benches are reserved for people who have ordered. Teach your staff to review orders before abusing customers. I could not believe the vial vitriol that spilled from her mouth. I am a paying customer. I showed her the order confirmation on my phone. No apology for the abuse and it is abuse. My one day off looking after the community and I get abused by your staff member. I came to your store to support my local community to be treated like rubbish. I entered the store and requested a refund from the second girl behind the counter. No refund - store policy! I can not bring myself to eat food that has been served by someone that rude. How can I now trust that she has not spat in the meal. I am sorry if your company is going under. You need better vetting...
Read moreI have had huxtaburger before at a different location and it was so greasy and not very nice. I decided to pop in and try the collingwood huxtaburger since I was close by, it was really enjoyable. Burgers were fresh and very tasty. Bun was Crispy on the edges and soft know the middle. Meat wasn't dry at all and it had heaps of cheese and nice pickles. Not greasy at all. The cheese mayo was interesting and I was eager to try it, was amazing loved it.
It had heaps of seating, unfortunately wasn't very clean. And the two shops confused me a bit (they are connected via a little hall way) . Music was so funny loved it.
Since I hadn't been before I felt a bit pressured at the counter when ordering (I didn't see any menues I could take to the table) but I randomly picked a burger and drink and it turned out amazing.
Shame the drinks machine was broken and not working. Onion rings on point.
