Cautionary tale: online orders for pick up.

Placed an order online. First hurdle: I was forced to sign up for their rewards program just to place an order. Then, large chips weren't available to order online, so we settled for small chips. Order submitted, the pick-up time was set for ~15min later and the order progressed from "received" to "in preparation" within seconds.

I arrived to pick up my order one minute early expecting to wait a few minutes for my order to be ready. I approached the counter and asked how long I'd be expecting to wait for my order. The reply? They hadn't started preparing it yet.

I ended up waiting an additional ~20 minutes until my order was finally ready. I returned to the office with my spoils.

I ordered 6 burgers and four serves of chips. I can report that we all enjoyed our hot chips (even if we couldn't order the size we wanted). Unfortunately, the burgers were on a sliding scale of temperature. My burger was hot and tasty, but the two people who got Huxtas complained that they were cold.

All in all, a very poor experience that cannot be saved by personable staff. Huxtaburger needs to work with their partners to fix their online ordering system. It is a woeful and frustrating experience that I will not be repeating in the future.

Staff here provided great service and friendly. I'm a burger enthusiast so I'm going to critic the burger quite harshly.

I'm not foreign to huxtaburgers as I've had a few of their burgers in various suburbs since 2013. I had only come here because I happen to be in the area.

The buns were over buttered and too saturated with the oil. The meat was cooked well done and I dare say not fresh.

Chips were the highlight, crispy and soft inside. Deep fried just right.
