If you don't want to be respected as customer, this will be the place to go!!!

I usually never review on anything but, Couldn't stop myself on expressing my worst experience last night as a dinner. At around 9:10 I walked in with my family clearly asked one of the staff if it's late to dine in and they said okay. One staff sat us on a table and later were moved to another one and sat next to a place where they had a dust pan, dirts and other things trolley kept. By the time we received our food it was nearly 9:30. Checking on Google found they close at 10 and we acknowledge we respect their hard work will be quick when they served. Seen we were 3 adults sitting still gave us 2 persons cutlery, asked for tap water never served. One of the waitress turned the lights off of our table at around 9:45 when we were still eating. Which we felt extremely insulting. Told them that's very rude and we will be out before 10 still another waitress came in reminding us they closing in 5 min just when we were about to get off finishing our food. I literally had to tell them stop harassing us and we are finished. By the time we finished food and paid Bill with our complains to the counter it was still not 10 pm. I used to be one of their regular customer when they newly opened before I relocated to other state going back after 8 years as loyal customer driving 30 km from where I live wasn't surely expecting this sort of insults paying for the food and service. May be losing me as customer won't affect the business but keeping this practice will damage the reputation in longer term.

Best of luck to other customer and still hoping you guys will fix your problems and improve your service like use to be. But, I am surely never...

What has happened to the service??? Today i had the worst experience especially after eating it many times and loving it, so i recommended it to my friend. We ordered the mixed kebab and the qabuli palao with chicken korma meal. The lady who took the order initially just stared at us while taking order as if we were aliens. After slowly taking down order,i especially told her to make sure food is hot (she did not understand what i meant so i explained to her in her language) After 10 min of wait, food arrived. The qabuli palao with korma supposed to come with naan bread and i even told the lady. She said ok i will bring it and she never came back. The food itself was a bit cold. After eating few bites of rice and mixed kebab, i took both plates to the waiter. Told him food is very cold and if they can reheat it. He also looked at me if i was an alien and argued that its not cold. I said im telling you its cold - please warm it. He said it is not cold. I still argued and after 5 min he said ok will microwave it. He forgot about it. I went to the kitchen after 5 min and he said hes bringing it. It was still so so (must have gotten cold in the microwave too as he took so long to bring it to us) Anyways, i was quite excited to eat here in the beginning but looks like management and service has dropped far down. They dont respect the customers. I dont think will come again...

I have tried authentic Kebabs when I was in New Delhi, India (Khan Chacha and Kebab Xpress) and visit to Afghan Master Kebab was completely unplanned. I was visiting my friend in Sunshine and being a Middle Eastern guy, he suggested me to try this place for dinner. It was more like a Pakistani/Afghan cuisine.

The restaurant location is a walkable distance from the nearest railway station (Sunshine) and from the bus station nearby. The ambiance was average. There is also a traditional form of seating on the floor at one end of the restaurant.

The staff found clueless about the cuisine as I could see her struggling even to pronounce the name of dishes. I wish she could at least manage a warm and welcoming face. Moving on, we ordered Kebabs, Bread, Rice, and Lamb Curry. You can grab tea bags and hot water at the counter for free. As I was grabbing my favorite Pepsi Max, I noticed they have all sorts of soft drinks.

We had a sumptuous meal. The bread was really big and I am sure I haven't tasted anything like that before. It was a bit crispy on the outside and very soft and airy on the inside. Though the lamb curry was delicious, the gravy was little watery for my taste. Wish they could provide us with some sauce or mayonnaise for the Kebabs. Talking about the quantity, I would say, I dish was enough...

Never tried Afghan food before so we thought we'd give this place a try. Wow, what a lovely, welcoming experience and we really enjoyed the tastes served up. We told them this was our first time there and they welcomed us with open arms. After discussing the menu options and telling them we weren't into hot dishes they recommended a couple of dishes for us. The first was a mixture of beef, lamb and chicken with a light salad. The other was all chicken, again with a side salad. Both came with a beautiful zingy mint dipping sauce on the side. OMG!... soooooo yummy, we could have drank it. The bread came out piping hot as it had just been made fresh for our meal. We could have eaten the bread as a main. It was off its chops. All in all, a really enjoyable dining experience. The place was full of diners who were obviously from the middle east. That tells you something about the food. We'll be back!

Had lunch at Afghan Master Kebab and sampled a variety of their dishes: chicken palaw curry, lamb shank mahicha palow, chicken kobida skewers, mixed kebab,l & sheeryakh ice cream. Overall, the food was quite flavourful. The lamb shank was beautifully tender & the chicken skewers had a great char-grilled finish. The chicken curry, however, lacked the depth of flavour I was expecting. The highlight was the dessert, a creamy, rose-flavoured sheeryakh ice cream topped with crushed pistachios. Service unfortunately was a letdown. Despite the restaurant not being busy during lunch, service was slow & tables remained uncleared long after guests had left.
