We had the chef selection banquet but unfortunately the waygu beef and the shabu shabu (the main dish) was not available and substituted with the teppanyaki. The miso shiru was perfect, but then this was massively let down by the ika geso age (salad with salmon eggs and kewpie (mayo) accross the dish The sushi bar and the oysters came together which felt like a piece was missing from the sushi bar and they hid it by putting the oyster in its spot. The garlic prawns came next sitting on a disappointing warm salad pieces. The teppanyaki followed and this was the best dish of the set making me wonder how good the waygu could have been. However this was a single dish rather than 2 (as we bought 2 sets so either they comvinwd them or forgot a set - did not ask) and there was no price reduction for the sub. The final dish was fired banana...

We've just had the most amazing dinner last night and couldn't fault a single thing. The food was very tasty, good quality and servings were very generous. Can highly recommend the Chef C banquet. We were a large family gathering and instead of being on one long table, the staff had rearranged tables into a square formation so that our social interaction was a totally different and much more pleasant experience. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and attentive. We arrived at 6pm on a busy saturday night, we had booked ahead, and left just before 11pm and enjoyed every moment of their hospitality. Thankyou....

Good service and the food was decent. However, was disappointed by the amount of unnecessary plastic straws that were used at this restaurant. Straws are not necessary unless someone has a disability and is incapable of drinking directly out of a glass/can. It may seem like a small issue but the environmental repercussions of using something so unnecessary, is not worth it. I would suggest not using them unless you need them. The bonus is you’ll end up saving money as a business, and for the customers that do care about these things, it will make a huge...

Ended up here after A Series of Unfortunate Airplane Related Events that I would rather not have to think about again. The upside was that we discovered this gem, because everything at the airport is either closed at any reasonable hour to (be trying to) fly, or I wouldn't ask anyone I liked well enough to eat out with to eat there. The food here was delicious, and freshly made to order - we will definitely be back for more. (although hopefully under slightly better circumstances, although the food certainly cheered us up last time!)

Can’t imagine that someone said it’s the best sushi, I’m so disappointed for 30 aud this bento box, apart that the food came soggy. The fish was over cooked and sashimi was acidic, couldn’t even eat it and thanks god, today having issues with my stomach, which is sure from this, felt wrong straight after dinner. Absolutely not worth your money ! Avoid going there specially if you don’t want food poisoning and bad quality food
