could have been a higher review but I gave the icecream cake to the front desk asked them if they could put it in the freezer they said no problem. two hours later they brought the ice cream cake to the table completely MELTED icecream cake for my girls 14th birthday.

pathetic service no apology or anything.

hope you appreciated as a group we spent over $530 dollars at your restaurant. we tried to cut it up and serve it and it just turned to mush.

if only they had have said not we can't put it in the freezer I could have walked back up the street and left it at the ice cream shop where I organised days earlier to have it made. we picked it up from the ice cream shop as we walked to Nobel Greek tavern as it is only a couple of shops up. the person in icecream shop asked will they put it in a freezer ,I replied I'll ask. the person in the icecream shop looked surprised, so I know why now..........they said if they can't bring it back here and we can hold it. I completely understand now the reason why they were concerned as this isnt the first time it has happened............

so visitors be very careful if you take a icecream cake there because clearly they...

I’m so torn. The food, as always, was 100%. The service tonight was not great. There were a few young kids working tonight, so I won’t point fingers directly. I’m hoping you will use my review as a teaching exercise. We ordered drinks at the same time as our food. The food arrived before the drinks- and they only arrived because we called one of your staff over. Two of our table ordered the mojitos and we could hear the mad panic of ‘does anyone know how to make them’ from our table. We were told that your cocktail maker wasn’t working tonight and we needed to choose something else. All of our meals came with a side of chips. One of your staff brought 3 out of 4 sides to the table and told us that the other one was coming. We had to ask your staff for that much later, too. As I said, I’m torn. We’ve been there often, and have noticed the price increases on the menu, but we understand, with the lockdowns you may need to recoup losses. And we are more than happy to support local. Please use our review to help your younger staff members learn and improve. We will still definitely be back. I just hope to get that...

Watch out, these guys are rude and unprofessional. We called up today 31 of December the prices on their takeaway menu “current”don’t match the prices as they secretly add 15 percent and apparently don’t inform their staff , the man we spoke to was unsure and started it was written on the website “ it was not “ and his manager mumbled it to him. while we were on the phone, the manager said in a rude arrogant way the 15 percent signs up all over the store and informed us it’s a public holiday which it’s not ,by law tomorrow is. If business can make there own laws without the correct information on all forms aka the current take away menu, very dodgy especially when Covid has impacted our economy. Shame on you. As a regular I will never step foot in your establishment again… we were regulars for our family occasions.

I know the owners probably don’t care but it is what it is. It’s not the money we were happily going to spend 4 or 5 hundred it’s the fact you lied to us…

Unprofessional manager rudeness Uninformed staff Direct lying to customers

Save you money eat...

Came down here for a Thursday night dinner at 530 and the place was packed at 6pm. We ordered the safe Greek options, Lamb and Chicken souvlaki platters, calamari rings and extra dips and pita bread. The bread was irresistible, a lot with dips, eggplant or tzatziki or taramasalata it’s addictive, mix that with a salad and lamb or chicken it’s heavenly satisfying. Though the chicken is the crowd favourite the lamb does not have the game flavour and rivals some of the best in Melbourne. The fried Calamari was kids favourite and it was tender and very fresh indeed. The lamb rack is also very well seasoned and cooked. We finished the meal with Baklava, it was runny with syrup, I prefer the middle eastern Baklava. In summary will be back to try the rest of menu.

Everything here is great! Although we didn’t catch the name of Our waitress, she was a short haired blonde Aussie lady who wore glasses, Everything about her was all you could ever wish a waitress to be! Great advice, very friendly and welcoming! Best energy! And the food as always was AMAZING! Everything cooked to perfection! All meats were tender with a perfect crisp on the outside! And the dips were spot on! Only thing I could possibly pick on is it is a bit tight in there, but the great food and service easily outweigh that! Look forward to our next visit! Mind the concentration face! Food coma was incoming! 😂

Great to catch up with the Kosmas Family at the Keilor Rd Niddrie at @nobelgreektavern for Friday night dinner and the food was magnificent! Huge servings too! Great value for money! Service led by @pegs_fc First ever female footballer @alikibatis was first rate, friendly and very professional! If you are hungry no better local Greek tavern to support than Nobels! Look forward to returning very soon. Make sure you remember to book though as you will be disappointed as it is very popular!
