Ducky In The Field Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Unsafe!! I was here a bit ago on my own, and I ordered some food. The male waiter was constantly giving me weird looks, direct eye contact and would lick his lips while looking at me. As a minor I felt extremely weirded out by the waiter who looked to be late 20s. The waiter brought me some chips I had ordered which were in a basket on top of a plate. As the plate was placed down, a chip fell out of the basket onto the plate. The male waiter picked it up and ate it in front of me. I didn't say anything, I just nervously chuckled. When the time hit the hour, the waiter walked out of the Cafe as he had finished his shift. About a minute later I also left as I had finished my food. As I was walking down the street I heard a loud car speeding by. I turned to look and it was the waiter. He was driving really fast, but when he got to where I was he slowed down, rolled down his windows and made eye contact with me. I smiled, and thought maybe he was going to tell me I had forgotten something but that wouldn't make sense since I left after him. He drove off, and must have done a u-turn because as I walked right next to an alleyway, he zoomed back around and parked in the closet parking spot to where I was. He got out of his car and made eye contact with me and started walking towards me. I quickly ran the other way, and he got back into his car and followed me. I turned the other way again and he did a u-turn to go the same way as me. This happened multiple times. I felt extremely unsafe. I turned back around and ran really quickly into a shop. He did not see which shop I ran into. I was looking outside and I saw him pull in front of the shops. I saw him look around, fail to see me, and then he parked out the front. Myself and my son Anthony visited Ducky in the field café on Australia Day Monday the 27 January 2025. The service is unmatched .The staff truly cares what you require. Manu and Suchi gave us First Class Service, no questions asked. SIMPLY THE BEST. I had the Traditional Chicken Parmigiana. The best Parmigiana I have ever had; was so delicious I could not finish this mouthwatering Parmigiana I had to take half back home in a container. I had also A Mango Smoothie what can I say absolutely delicious. My son had Carbonari Paparelli and Chicken Caesar Wrap, in 1 Word Delicious. My sincere thanks to the Chiefs ALL I Can say Bon Appetite. The Ducky in the field café in Beaconsfield is going to be our favourite restaurant from now on. We have been to so many restaurants, in Gippsland, City In Melbourne and Interstate in Australia and other countries worldwide, value for money the Ducky in the field café is the place to Dine out Can’t wait to return to the Ducky at the Field café and would not hesitate to recommend. What a find: just the best of the best coffee 11 out 10! My mug double shot flat white was smooth, balanced, rich, and mellow lingering syruppy after-taste - superb - no bitterness that can come with double shots. 👏 My wife had a cappuccino - and RARELY ever has a second, but after a sip of mine, wanted a second without the chocolate distracting: she loved the latte....👍 But it is not just the coffee: the food - great offerings of lunch (and breakfast menu looked good) all at really reasonable prices - enjoyed the chicken wrap and baguette we shared and then great berry muffin for desert- out in the well covered area, cool day, nice radiant heaters. Just had to go back in and thank the owner-barista who told me his name was Taun.....👌👌👌👌👌
