This is a very funny one!!!! I hate bad reviews but when I come across incompetent business owner that shaft me, well I can’t really compliment them, can’t I? The business offers a seat down service but don’t manage it so I checked for a seat and it was available. I went to order my coffee and breakfast, looking forward to sit down and enjoy it while catching up with some work emails while the wife was doing her things at the shops. While I was placing my order and paying for it I didn’t realise the seat at the table was taken by other customers, c’est la vie! I went to cancel my order and get a refund but they refused to do so and chuck my muffin in a paper bag, to have it where? At the park? Sorry guys you might have to improve your management skills there! Until then keep my muffin and the copy of the receipt because you aren’t gonna see my credit card...

I reviewed this place roughly a year ago (wasn't impressed back then either) and honestly this time was probably worse. Ordered some pancakes; received three pikelets that appeared to have come from the nearby Woolies, a few strawberries and some ice cream. For 18 bucks that's a massive rip off. My friends frappe arrived looking like a mess (think dripping on the table) and had a hair on the outside of the glass (I mean, at least it's not in the drink, but ew).

The staff just don't seem to give a rat's about the presentation of their food or customer service eg. Looking like they remotely care. Honestly wish someone else would move in and set up a nicer cafe cause this is embarassing. Maybe it's an issue with Jamaica Blue or the people who own that franchise cause they always seem to look bloody miserable working there...

This place used to be amazing for food, service and price. Haven't been there for a while after ordering a lactose free iced coffee that came out with ice cream and cream! When I asked if it was lactose free iced cream and cream they were really rude. It was a problem for them to remake it.

Decided today to give it another go and ordered a poached egg on toast with hollandaise sauce.

Came out cold and no hollandaise sauce - I had to ask for that.

There were dishes all over the tables and someone had split milk all over a seat. I told the waitress - she just ignored me.
