Best Advice: Don't order in for takeaway. Get delivery!

My husband and I went to Jovani's to order 2 pizzas. I sent my husband in to order and get a timeframe of how long it'll take as we've got our 8 month old asleep in the car with me. Husband comes back and says it'll be 20 minutes. 15 minutes waiting in the car, my husband goes in. After 30 minutes, we figured the 20 minutes was an estimate and asked how long it'd be. The cook said it was coming up. Our son woke up after 50 minutes waiting in the car with me. We rushed to cooks and asked how long it'd be. They forgot our order. The receipt slip they use was covered by other orders, they couldn't see it and even though my husband reminded them and the fact that he'd been waiting in store for over half an hour shows you how much they pay attention to their in store customers. They didn't apologise but acknowledged the mistake and offered to give us free pizzas. We declined the offer and stormed out. Everyone makes mistakes, but I've worked in hospitality and I don't think I could forget to check on an order for a person who's been waiting 50 minutes in total and who has been literally staring me in the face for 30 minutes waiting anxiously after being told "it's coming up".

Pizza's good. Get delivery. Only reason I give it 3 stars? People make mistakes. We've ordered delivery for over 3 years only...

I ordered a take away Risotto. the sauce and seafood that was cooked in the risotto was excellent, because it was tasty and the meat was tender. However the Rice in the Risotto was disappointing because it was raw. I know that it should have an Al Dante bite to it , but this rice I ordered was certainly half raw! It should be more cooked and 10 percent Al Dante. Please improve! I have been a customer for almost 3 years.

I also ordered a Veal schnitzel. The crunch outside was good but the meat was tough. I did not enjoy it al all .Please serve enjoyable food that you the cook will personally enjoy. Cook and serve with passion. The customer will be willing to pay if the food...

Bloody love these blokes, I’ve been a customer for 10 years or more and they rarely get it wrong, Best choice when you want an old school no fuss pizza 🍕 If they’re ever under the pump and the delivery takes longer than it should, they’re super friendly and apologetic on the phone. Delivery drivers are grouse too. Especially love that you can order straight from the restaurant or on their website and can skip the 3rd party delivery services, we all know that no one wins in that game except Uber eats and menulog. I cried so hard when the petrol price were too off tap to deliver to my area. Got a meatloaves and chefs special with some extras tonight and it’s a happy Friday...
