Hearing that it is one of the best burger joints in the world, some friends and I met at New York Minute. A pokey little place, it kind of felt like an old style take away shop that had been given a makeover to be a hip burger joint. The menu is pretty broad, and deciding to try the kind if house special, the New York. A double cheese burger, notably with spinach instead of lettuce leaves, a middle bread layer to break up the meat, and some nice pickles, the burger was large but really quite tasty. Definitely not for the health conscious... the pottions are large. Having ordered the stupendously large "small" chips, I realised that they were unnecessary. Crunchy, well seasoned and morish, but to compliment the burger it was a bit over the top. If I was to come back I would probably try the Beef Brisket burger and the pulled pork roll. If I was to return again I doubt I would recommend 5 of my friends meet me there - it was a little cramped for that many people, so you probably want to head there with 4 people max. The staff were friendly and the places ethos seems pretty good - they do fun stuff like have a man or mouse challenge that I would suggest would very challenging, their staff seemed to communicate well and they send relaxed and settled. Overall it was pretty good. For a naughty lunch under $15 you could do...

The cheeseburger proved to be a gastronomic delight, showcasing a perfect harmony of flavors and textures. The succulent beef patty, cooked to perfection, was enveloped in a blanket of melted cheddar that added a rich and creamy dimension to every bite. The toasted milk bun, with just the right amount of crispness, provided a sturdy yet pillowy vessel for this culinary masterpiece.
Accompanying the star of the show were a generous serving of golden-brown chips. Each fry boasted a satisfying crunch on the outside, giving way to a fluffy interior. The seasoning on the chips was a masterstroke, striking the balance between saltiness and a hint of spices, elevating the overall experience.
Together, the cheeseburger and chips formed a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The combination of savory beef, melted cheese, and the satisfying crunch of well-seasoned fries created a memorable culinary experience that left me yearning for another round of this...
Read moreToday we purchased a Hells Kitchen, Manhattan and Chicken burger and they were all in between cold to warm meat and weren't hot enough. Given that we live 5 minutes away we have purchased burgers from other fast food places and hve never experienced this issue. We also ordered chips and found the flavours were nice except black crumbs around the chips which possibly indicates the cooking oil may need to be changed or other deep fried food has contaminated the oil. Note: I've had experience working in a kitchen. Customer service was average. Although we are in the middle of a pandemic COVID-19 I also noticed spider webs coming down from the ceiling to the chairs. In all honesty if you are going to sell food you should ensure its clean from dust and spider webs. This place...
