There was poor communication with the 3rd employee it was a young male to be precise.. there were employees who come of their shifts and still sat around whilst still engaging with the workers who were still working. I had to wave down the person at the counter just to ask for plates and spoon raised my Voice saying EXCUSE ME ! All because he decided to brush off what i was asking for to talk to his co-workers/friends who werent working .Now Im a paying customer,as for the eating area can see all the chairs were up , except for a couple which the crew who werent working were eating on which was all fine, they finished eating but again still hanging around .once our order was ready we went to find a seat we werent to sure if we could bring the stools down , therefore as they were getting up i asked if they were done , yes was their answer , but they sure were noisey for a group of people hanging out after their meal not to mention 2x workers just standing around talking mop and bucket in hand but not working. I mean my family & i felt very uncomfortable in this store & we couldnt enjoy our meal. Had they just left and workers paid attention to the customers I would of given this place a 3.4 ..& bathrooms were filthy. Food quality was average.( KFC WHY ONLY HIRE KIDS ) they meant to represent your name and your company yet these children dont know the first thing about customer service , customer communication , and hygiene eating area. I provide this address in the comments because there are now two KFC stores in Craigieburn.
I walked to the door at 9:32 and oddly the door was closed with music blasting inside the store, although closing time is 10pm as it states online.
I went via drive thru and I was asked to confirm my order number.
After confirming my order number I was told to go to the parking area and we will bring the order out to you.
30 mins later a young child was sent out saying we stopped cooking chicken and therefore we can't give you what you ordered.
When I asked for refund, the young kid went inside to ask the manager if this was possible and the kid was told no and the customer should request refund online.
I felt sorry for the kid and didn't even ask further questions but to say (thank you I will request refund online), although I had no idea how to go about this.
Not to take away any credit from the hard working kids in this store who do great work servicing customers on daily basis.
I find this unprofessional and unsupportive by the store manager because they did think to even come out, apologise and tell the customer about the steps to get refund.
Better system needs to be developed in terms of customer service.
Thanks for always trying to meet community expectations and thanks to the hard working staff.

Yet despite the assumption that you would think a new store would adhere to regulations of customer service with greater care and pride, it is absolutely atrocious! Staff continuously get orders wrong and when you have every right as a consumer to follow up they make you feel like you're at fault! The store manager is the rudest person I have come across in any area of retail and hospitality where one would rightly expect adequate service. Forget reasonable service, this manager verbally abuses and accuses! We regularly spend close to $100 and they always get our order wrong! Trying to provide them with any feedback or follow-up is pointless as you get attacked by the manager! I tried to follow up with KFC Head Office but still awaiting a call back from the Area Manager. It appears there is a pattern of inept service! Do yourself a favour and spend your money at McDonalds! At least they provide full customer care if they have made a fault at their own accord- which is what should occur in accordance with consumer rights!! KFC need to seriously look into this store's manager and his behaviour if they want to keep customers who were once regulars... Not any more!! Judging by all the comments and feedback on here I am shocked to see that they have not done anything at all to fix the problem of their rude manager!! An absolute insult to your customers who you are losing...
