Read moreWe dropped by Kingsland last Monday and had such a great experience. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by retro Chinese decor—old-school paintings, soft curtains, and classic music that gives the place a warm, nostalgic feel.
The food was genuinely impressive. Every dish was packed with flavour and well balanced. The sizzling beef was a highlight—tender, tasty, and served piping hot. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and even our fussy eater was happy (which is saying something).
Monday was a great time to go—quieter, more relaxed, and perfect if you're checking it out for the first time. The service was just lovely: friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly a family effort. Three generations working together, all with a smile!

For entrees we ordered Fried Wontons, Steamed Dim Sims and I has Hot and Sour Soup, (which was changed for me as I'm allergic to seafood. We really enjoyed them,my husband said they were the best he had had in a long time. For Mains, Satay Chicken, Cantonese Beef on Sizzling Plate and Mandarin Pork. The servings were a really good size and Fried Rice. The staff were very attentive, but not pushy, and the restaurant was busy, a lot of them were regulars.
