The Dog Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I love this place and my friends and I love bringing our assistance dogs here, and we are always on top of cleaning up after our dogs. However one time when we had our dogs in the off lead yard along with some other people who left not long after we arrived, we stayed for a couple of hours, cleaned up poo as our dogs did them, and left. However next time we arrived were told we left all our dogs poo and were made to clean up the entire off lead yard, including of all old poo before leaving. We haven't exactly felt welcome back after this experience, especially with the disabilities we have. This was a place I loved to bring Medic, but now don't feel welcome after being targeted when we were not the only ones in that yard and we always clean up after our dogs, as they are...

Had a lovely visit to this dog-friendly café! The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. One of the highlights was the adorable in-house pups who made the place feel extra homely.

The setup is great—when the gates are closed, dogs are free to stroll around and socialize. My pup, Peanut, had an absolute blast! He especially loved the puppachino and devoured the salmon and duck treat.

It’s not just for the dogs though—there’s a good selection of treats for humans too, including toasties, salads, muffins, coffee, and smoothies.

Another unique feature is that they offer dog therapy sessions, which is such a thoughtful touch for pups that might need a bit of extra care or social support.

Me and my friend went down today around 3pm with my elderly dog bella, she was quite overwhelmed and the owners were amazing with recognising her behaviour and popped her dogs in the back so bella could roam around comfortably, the owners are a lovely mother and daughter, i love being able to chat about our pups.

There’s an amazing selection of hot/ cold drinks and foods for humans and your fur babies it’s just amazing, heaps of water, pools and shade to keep yourself and doggos cool.
