So disappointed. I am never one to complain however the entire experience was poor. I made the reservation well ahead of time. When we arrived, they did not have a highchair available even though we included it in our booking. We did not receive one until 30 minutes into our dining experience which was challenging. The food was disappointing to say the least and was the main lowlight to the evening. We almost broke a tooth because there was uncooked rice or glass in our salad. The lamb was all gristle and inedible, the octopus and sagnaki were chewy. It was not hot when it arrived to the table. We had to follow up a lost entree item and were constantly looking for service to attempt to order drinks. Our Mains were placed at the table which then we had a waitress come to us and say they needed the table back soon. I explained that our food had been delayed all evening and that our Mains had only just arrived. To be searching for service, food and drinks for the duration of the dining experience to then be told we needed to be out due to a second booking, was definitely in poor taste. She could tell we were not impressed and then returned 5 minutes later saying that could give us an additional 15 minutes. The initial waitress who took our order was friendly and apologetic to the highchair mishap. Unfortunately the female manager was not so pleasant when my husband mentioned there was uncooked rice/glass in the salad. She refused to accept the fact and belittled my husband who was passing on feedback so no other guests would have to experience the same thing. At no stage did he go into the horrendous dining experience we had, yet wanted to help the Kuzina team for the next sitting. I was really looking forward to my dining experience at Kuzina however we were underwhelmed and very disappointed to say the least. We will not be returning customers and will be passing on our feedback about the quality of food and lack of customer service to all...
Read moreNice, clean welcoming place. Staff attentive. I had chargrilled calamari for $28 as an entree which was tough cold and not much of it. My main was a trio of meat skewers which had a teeny tiny salad bowl a bit of flat bread and a dip. The meat was "ok" without being memorable and that was $33 My dining friends had a gyro platter to share for $55 They liked . It looked like it had a good amount of meat. Cheapest wine is $12 a glass Well I don't think anyone will leave saying "wow there was a lot of food". I think Kuzina need to remember that they are a restaurant serving food for a fair amount of money, so don't scab on the food. Remember spiced meat is only a kebab shop away. So I'll call it a miss for me. Maybe I got the wrong dishes. IMO it is too easy to do better elsewhere in the Eltham area. Kuzina need to keep that in mind. Oh the manager replied to this review asking for a conversation. I gave him my details but he never got in touch. JUST BECAUSE they reply it doesn't mean they care. Minus another point for that little...
Read moreThis used to be one of our favourite restaurants. Sadly, i've had to downgrade my review. We have been regulars since it first opened, but after the last three encounters, we've decided not to go back. The first issue was the souvlaki wraps. Half of the "meat" was inedible (or at least not chewable). The second to last incident was when they gave us the wrong dips, but i didn't know until i got home and opened the packaging. The last encounter, i walked in to order only to be told they were too busy to take my order, so i had to go and get food somewhere else (it wasn't even 6pm yet and there couldn't have been more than 10 people in the whole place). First time i've ever been told that by a restaurant in my life. I don't know what is going on over there, but the place seems to be going off the rails. Maybe they're biting off more than they can chew. I don't know. All i know is, there are plenty of other great eateries around here that do better, and in some...
