Bad parking experience today but otherwise nice new restaurant precinct. I was circling around for 20 minutes without finding a spot today, unless i park a good 10 minute walk away from where i want to go (Village Cinemas) with my 4 year old, in the rain, and it is a weekday morning, not even the weekend! Was just cut off by someone saying they "followed" the owners of the car i was waiting in front of, from another end of the carpark even though i was there with signals on for 5 minutes as it was a parent with pram spot and i really wanted to be close to Village Cinemas just to purchase some tickets. Couldn't be bothered fighting with that young lady who was being absolutely unreasonable plus i had my 4 year old with me. It was disgraceful behaviour. I left the place without getting what i wanted done, with an upset child as she didn't get to go shopping. And not to mention there is not 1 undercover parking spot. And too many idiots speeding around trying to cut others off for a spot endangering people's lives.
Also had another bad experience last year where some scumbag couple acted aggressive towards my wife just because she was waiting for their parking spot and apparently couldn't "move out of the way enough" for them to exit. They started swearing at her, following her around and threatening to assault her at the carpark behind Kmart! We were only to be told by security their cctv cameras couldn't spot the incident as it was...
Read moreThere are several serious customer access issues that need to be addressed at the centre. Dangerous pedestrian crossing on north side in the centre access point. Cars cannot see pedestrians because they are hidden behind a sign. Conversely, pedestrians cannot see cars. At night the crossing becomes extremely dangerous as there is no lighting for vehicles and pedestrians. North and south entrances in the middle of the facility are smoke screens. I have no problem with people who smoke but I have a problem being forced to breath in second hand smoke. The southern entrance is particularly bad with people smoking in non-smoking areas near the playground. It appears that there is no patrolling of the area by security staff. Parking on a busy day is nearly impossible especially when raining and the gravel overflow parks are not available. I have on 3 occasions now given up and driven to Epping Plaza. The customer service lines around McDonalds and KFC need to be managed better to allow shoppers to access the southern entrance door. Many times we have been harassed trying to just get though these lines to gain reasonable access to the centre. It is impossible to hear any announcement over the communications system when the centre is operational. This is a serious safety issue. Theses issues are obvious and shared by others who find it incredulous that the centre management have not done...
