We went for the soft opening and loved it. The burgers were fresh, delicious and good value for money. I learned from the chef that they don't use frozen patties and veggies rather they get everything fresh on the day. I'm glad there's a 100% halal burger place near the CBD which has a 'homey' feeling and where the burgers don't taste like a fast food joint. Lava and Volcano in the pictures.

This was weekend and we were looking for some late night options when we find this spot right on st kilda road, we tried their volcano burger on chefs recommendation and it was the best burger ever we tried, we tried almost everything and everything was amazing, owned by a young man and his hospitality was on top. Must visit place and 100% recommended.

One of the best damn burgers in the city. Owner is so nice and friendly, explained us about all the burger varients and help us choose according to our taste. We went with Lava burger. Pattie was grilled to perfection, juicy and crunchy at the same time. Prices are also very reasonable. Certified halal. Our goto burger joint from now on.

Lovely family business. I forgot to take a pic, silly me. I was hungry and the owner came out to have a chat, lovely to know more about the business. The Fried chicken burger zinger was slightly sweet, zinger like spice but not too much. Very nice, fresh chicken coated with a tasty herb crumb and not oily. My mates burger was also a nice grilled chicken burger. Fried wings were nice, crunchy and fresh / hot. The chips were ok. I'll be back...

Absolutely blown away by the food at Lala’s Food Joint, St Kilda! We ordered the Volcano Burger, Shami Burger, and wings — and every bite was next level. The burgers were juicy, full of flavour, and honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere in Australia. I’m here on holiday in Melbourne and this place easily tops my burger list.
