This pub is a little gem. Freshly renovated & completely different to the previous arrangement. These guys do 2 for 1 share plates on Monday, they are delightful. A decent size steak night w/ it & a bit + trivia on Tuesdays. Wednesdays is open mic so come make us laugh, sing a song, show us what you're made of . Thursday poker night with some side hussle. Friday it's starts rockin & on Saturdays you better get in quick or don't bother knocking cause the pub gets full quick yo!!! I dont write reviews normally but in this case I feel it's warranted. If your down & out, need to get out and about, or your just plain bored & ready to rocknroll on down to the Windsor Ale House cause the staff will cheer you up plus set your taste buds on fire. Now you can't really get a better place & location to start a mission cause you get access to Prahran/Windsor & StKilda. Needless to say I give it my royal tick of approval. Ps. Don't forget to try the crispy pork crackling or pork popcorn at the...

I had not been here for years and years but coming back from appointment and had to call in for old time's sake and was so good to return! Venue has been updated since last here with more modern fit out and name change of course but still felt so inviting and comfortable. Husband had chicken parmigiana, which was massive and I ordered nachos, which also was massive (see photos). In fact so huge I brought about 2/3 home. Also got garlic cheesy bread which was unnecessary as, aside from having one piece each, we brought home too! Also had a Prosecco. There is lots of seating here both inside and out and the music....so good! Garbage, Radiohead, Psychedelic Furs and other classic English bands. However was dying for coffee and they don't do but coffee shop nearby. If you haven't been check it out and won't be years before I come back. Thank you Windsor Alehouse for...

I contacted many venues regarding hiring out some space for a private function and the manager, Ewan, replied to me very promptly and he organised a time to get a tour of the venue and check out the function menu as we were catering for 100 guests. I just want to leave a positive review and the night went superbly and all guests enjoyed their night. The staff that were on Saturday night attending to the party guests at the bar and also with the food being passed around provided top quality service! It was brought to my attention that one of the people I had invited was gluten free and she had asked a staff member about gluten free food options and a little while later that same staff member had organised her a small selection of gluten free foods from the menu and I believe that was beyond great customer service! I hope to return to the venue in the...

Calling all craft beer and craft cider lovers. There's a BIG range of craft beers @windsoralehouse where you'll be spoilt for choice 🍺 It's been renovated since I was last there, and it looks cool. 😎 They have happy hour specials for 3 hours each day. My kind of place 🤣 And $12 Espresso Martini's or $12 Aperol Spritzers all weekend. Cheers to that.😀🍹 With friendly staff & seating both outdoors & and indoors, there's even space for mums with babies. 😊 I didn't try the food this time, but they have pub bites, bar snacks, burgers, sandwiches, & grass fed steaks at fantastic prices. There's a tram stop across the road, and it's an easy walk (or drive) to everything. This place is a must visit. #paid collaboration

BBQ Beef Rib Burger. I tried the Southern Fried Chicken Burger and I was very happy, it did not disappoint. The bun was toasted, and the burger did not fall apart when eating. The chicken was coated in something that didn't seem like breadcrumbs, chicken looked dark and burnt on the outside, but the chicken was very juicy. Just the right amount of coleslaw, the sauce did not go everywhere. Burger looked very tall, I could still use my hands to hold and eat the burger, didn't need to use a knife and fork. Big selection of beer on the beverage menu. Service was very fast and friendly, could order from the QR code or at the bar. Very chilled atmosphere, not too noisy, the lighting got dimmed later in the evening.
