Lauritos Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

Absolutely disgusting customer service! We ordered 8 pizzas at 4pm for delivery at 6pm through menulog. Once 6pm came around, my husband called 3 times to ask where our order was (telling them his name, delivery location and that it was a big order) and they kept telling us it was "on the way". In the meantime we had children asking us where there dinner was. It all came to a head at 7.30pm when they finally admitted they didn't have our order and my husband had to drive down there and prove we had an order through emails we received from menulog. It took another half an hour to collect them in which time the owner showed no customer service skills, didn't offer us any compensation or take any responsibility for the failure to service us. I have been going to Lauretos for a number of years now and I have never been disappointed by the quality of the food. The Pizzas are always perfect, the Parmas are great and rarely ever a delay. my only issue with Lauretos is the poor service, rule number one of hospitality is the customer should not have to greet you first, when you walk in no one says hi to you, they just make eye contact and look away, no it’s not just me as my wife has had the same experience as well as members of my family and friends, sadly I can not give a 5 star rating as the service is just not there, I hope in the near future this changes because I would love to give this business 5 stars as they...

Have been going to big Al's for years but their service and product has taken a real dive in recent months. So unfortunate but last night we ordered from lauritos for the 1st time and the pizza was not only superb but also had the authentic Italian taste. Delivery was prompt & service impeccable. Have lived up here for 40yrs and it's taken me this long to learn I should have been going to lauritos from the get go!
