#throwback to when we went on our sunday walk to Yarra Bend Park and saw this cute cafe called Loosie Grind on the way back home.
We were drawn towards the pastries and cookies they had as they were massive and looked so delish. We got some Iced Coffees to go and the Lotus Biscoff cookie. Theyâre both yum!
But the one thing that I will forever keep with me about this place is the friendliness of the people who were working there. The moment we came in through the door, we were greeted as if we were a part of the family and the neighborhood.
When we got our cookie, she was asking if we want it warmed up. Also, when I asked for sugar for my coffee, she offered vanilla pumps instead as she said itâs better for the coffee than the normal granulated sugar, with no extra charge. Idk why but I felt that these actions were just so nice!!
I wish we could spend more time there, perhaps to taste their brunch menu. Anyway, if youâre in the area, make sure to check out this cafe! I hope youâll be treated as good as how we...

I dropped by recently and tried their spinach and cheese pastry, which wasnât a flaky croissant as I initially thought, but a substantial flat, triangle-shaped bread, more like a savoury hand pie. It was richly satisfying, with creamy cheese and tender spinach filling each bite perfectly.
The café features both indoor and outdoor seating, ideal whether you want to linger indoors or enjoy the fresh air.
With its friendly service, warm atmosphere, and quality savoury treats, Loosie is a hidden gem...

Processed frozen chicken in a stale wrap with Coles coleslaw and a couple lettuce leaves describes what I had. Service was prompt but I had to get up to ask for cutlery. Atmosphere, look if you enjoy staff literally yelling (not agressively) at each other from behind the counter to where customers are sitting, great. I also suspect some customers are known to the owners/staff given the inappropriate conversations (for a public space) going on. I'm unfortunately not a fan so I...
