Maybe itâs my fault for ordering pasta from a âpizzeriaâ but golly was the pasta horrible. Granted, I did order from Uber eats, but I canât imagine the quality to be too different from eating in-store.
We got the spaghetti bolognese, the lasagna, and fettuccine pollo e funghi.
The spaghetti bolognese was the only one average - still tons to work on but it was passable.
Now the lasagna - I love lasagna and I often buy it from the supermarkets when I have a late night craving for it. Iâm almost sure the lasagna they have is just store bought, heated, and then added in with some marinara and cheese. Very unimpressed.
The fettuccine was the worst. Severely under seasoned, the chicken so tough it felt like cardboard, the pasta waaay overcooked. I literally had to put in a ton of salt and Parmesan to make it not taste like some type of weird cream-tasting pasta. Even my 6 year old could tell the difference and refused to eat it before I added the other stuff - and I didnât blame her.
Lastly, the garlic bread is literally the same ones as dominoes. Again, just expected a bit more than...
Read moreFirst time there. This place is fantastic.
Went there last night (23 September 2025) for dinner with 2 friends. Treated like long lost family by the 2 gentlemen working the ovens.
While I appreciate that this is more on a pickup or delivery type of pizzeria they do have a few tables for people who would like to dine in. The setting is basic, comfortable and cosy. Just right, so I dont understand why more locals dont wander up the street and dine in.
The food was delicious. We ordered a couple of the large specialty pizzaâs followed by some Tiramisu and Baci desserts. The Tiramisu was so big it resembled a slab of lasagne and was fantastic.
Judging by the constant stream of delivery people crowding the counter and spilling out into the street I could tell this is a popular place amongst the pizza loving locals.
Definitely on my radar next time I am passing. And well worth the 40km journey there to meet my friends last night.
Try it, youâll be...
Read moreI believe I wrote another review saying the pizzas were amazing for just staying in but I wouldn't go in person. Just writing a new review after they were closed for a bit and I went dominos. Made me realise that I was taking it for granted. Their pizzas are delicious. Super thin bases. Always cooked amazing for the times I've tried. Margherita is really nice. My only complaint is sometimes the pizza isn't cut super well leading to a bit of sticking of slices. But I'll take that for the amazing taste. Really good value for money too. My absolute go to. Makes me sad when they are closed and I want a pizza.
Further editing this review. I ate at ca de vin in the city and their Margherita and it once again made me realise this places pizzas are...
