Mad Patties Mooroolbark — Restaurant in Melbourne

Burger: I got the Mad Benji and it was decent. Probably slightly more cooked that I would go for and too much sauce for my liking. But still enjoyable. Chips: Perfect crispiness. The loaded fries were also good with guac, bacon and sour cream Onion rings: Great size for sharing and also perfect crispiness. Shake: I had a Salted Peanut Butter. It was good but ask for extra ice cream if you want it nice and thick.

This place gets four stars because while the burger wasn't the best I've tried in the area, they are friendly staff and open longer hours on weeknights than most other places nearby. Decent ambience for a sit down burger on a weeknight too.

Probably pricier than I would like but that seems to be how much burgers...

"Mad Patties in Mooroolbark? More like Rad Patties! Walked in expecting a regular burger experience, but nope – I got sauce samples like I was at a fancy wine tasting! The lady behind the counter practically rolled out the red carpet of condiments.

The burgers were next level – juicy, packed with flavor, and big enough to make you wonder if you’ll need a nap halfway through. Honestly, if you’re not wearing half your meal by the end, you’re doing it wrong.

Pro tip: Don’t sleep on the sauces. If you’re indecisive like me, just ask for the 'tour de sauce.' Mad Patties? More like Mad Genius. Can’t wait to come back – still dreaming about...

Not a nice place to eat. Sign on door says "keep closed" but the door blows open anyway. Kitchen staff were swearing loudly, shouting to each other, playing loud music that was competing with front of house music. The inside setup is weird - so much space with so few tables - it's like they're basically a dark kitchen. Lots of delivery drivers coming and going so pretty much confirms that theory. Chips are pretty nice. Burger was pretty average...
