Am delivery worker . I picked up foods always from Subway Mooroolbark 。however one of staff was look like new and very rude to stare at me to pass the foods to me , and she did not say anything . Actually no need she say “ thank you “but at least she can’t stare me like enemy to made me feel very nervous and uncomfortable. I even don’t know what’s wrong with her . I hurry up to drop off food to the customer then I went back the Subway to see the manager cause I think it’s not good like this service to do jobs . This stuff look like don’t know how to smile as working in the restaurant. However , another stuff told me no manager in this subway Mooroolbark and other stuffs always keep smile . Honestly , Her service is very rude to make me feel bad. Hopefully the stuff must be training first to do job and the key is to be smile and kind to everyone as a service quality presenting in the Subway . Cause also I love Subway as a customer and her service destroy my good feeling to the Subway . Read moreI just went to Subway Mooroolbark, where there were two male staff members 6/3/24 between 7-8pm. Instead of greeting me as a customer, they informed me that they were on break and seemed uninterested in taking my order. I asked them whether I should wait for them to finish their break or if I should leave and not place an order, since I didn't see any "closed" signage before entering the shop. That indicated to me that Subway Mooroolbark was open and ready to take my order.
I am one of your regular customer since this is the only Subway in Moorolbark that I know. Therefore, even if someone is not a regular customer, they should still be treated properly, and your staff should know how to value both their customers and your brand. Also they should know how to value their job even if the manager is not around. I understand that they are both on break and no one will relieve them at their station, but it's not a valid reason to refuse to take an order from a customer or assist them unless you put up a sign indicating that the shop is temporarily closed due to...
Read moreWhat a shockingly poor customer experience this was. Specifically, due to one staff member, a shorter older lady who I presume from her authoritative behaviour was the manager or owner of the store.
Angrily muttering, rude treatment of both her own staff and customers, slapping down food items carelessly. When her staff enquired about scanning my club card, she said something under her breath like "all you do is scan it and that's all there is to it". Do us all a favour and please do not be in a customer facing industry if this is the attitude you wish to have.
I also felt sorry for the underling staff, clearly one was a new staff member and unsure of what to do. They looked too terrified to even ask her and instead proceeded to poorly process my order. No one was communicating, everyone just had their heads down and looked either terrified or miserable.
The subs were poorly assembled, cold, and I was concerned about food cleanliness given how I observed this lady handling the food.
