Extremely Disappointing Experience – Overpriced and Underserved

I had high expectations when dining at Manara Coburg, but this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. The banquet was shockingly underserved—Mansaf for 12 people consisted of just two plates, and to make matters worse, it was served cold. This is completely unacceptable for a dish that should be rich, warm, and generously portioned.

Service was just as appalling. There was only one server attending to around 40 guests, which meant long waits, neglected tables, and an overall chaotic dining experience. When we raised our concerns, we were completely ignored—it felt as though our feedback didn’t matter.

Recently booked the private function for 50 people including children. Food was underserved, and cold. Seemed like it was microwaved, as the meat was warm on the outside and ice cold on the inside. Rice was too salty, when i spoke to the manager in regards to the food, he said i will bring more for you. Why were we not served enough portions in the first place? And then when asked about how salty the rice was, he said he will talk to the chef. Did not get back to me or even offer to make new dishes. When i asked again about the rice, he blamed it on the chef and that he was new and they will fix it next time. Very disappointed, i made the mistake of paying in full prior to the experience as they knew they will not refund me my money. Never coming back here again.

During our visit to the area, we were craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and decided to give Mamara a try. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience as it exceeded our expectations.

First and foremost, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our dietary preferences and provided us with an incredible vegan platter. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. It was evident that great care was taken in preparing the food.

To add to the wonderful dining experience, a musician played some local tunes on his keyboard. This created a truly enjoyable atmosphere, making our meal even more memorable.
