ā€œDEBATEā€ Do you pray? No, Do you drink? yes, Do you party? Like animals, Do you eat port? No then hahaha comes after it, you do all of that haram but you don’t eat pork. Ordered first time family pizza with Paperoni, then called the shop confirmed it’s halal, the answer was yes ā€œall pizzas are Halal, everything is Halalā€. It taste it funny, I was in doubt, I throw it away. Another day came, my friend called the shop before I order, ordered same pizza with Paperoni, pizza arrived with Paperoni, No funny taste, it was all good and delicious. Last night ordered another one with Paperoni again, taste it funny, I’m off my head, called the shop twice today, he’s confirming it’s halal and everything is halal. In my opinion from the smell and taste of the paparoni, 99.99999% it was made of pork, I don’t think I’m that stupid not to say I’m hundred per cent sure paparoni had pork on it. All in all, don’t trust whatever they say to you, 1. smell it, you get to know then 2. you didn’t figure out from first test taste it, if it was funny No doubt the Pizza is %100 not HALAL.

Really poor service I called and made an order they said 15 minutes I got there and waited 20 minutes my pizza was sitting on the side while my garlic bread wasn’t even in the oven the staff are all on there phones even had an Uber driver beside me with his food sitting on the oven and the continued to make him wait. I also asked the girl if the mars bar dessert was nice she replied it’s the best very popular after I took it home I realized a strange taste only to see it’s out of date. I don’t usually put bad reviews but I had to for this one because it’s not the first time I’ve had problems there definitely my last time going and people done waste you’re time and money

Being new to the area my partner and I were chasing that nice piping hot tasty saucy pizza we all dream of, and of course with limited options open we went with Coburg Pizza hoping we’d receive a somewhat decent feed considering their reviews seemed above average. We ordered a Family Hawaiian Pizza through their allocated app, requesting to add extra tomato base and garlic. After 95 minutes we were greeted with the most underwhelming dry ā€˜pizza’ with barely any toppings and zero flavour. Also didn’t come customised just standard Hawaiian. Disappointed to say the least, we were hoping we’d found our new local go-to!

Oh, boy. Where to start?

Ordered a pizza. Lady came from the back kitchen wearing gloves. She's eating. Stuffs the last bit of food in her mouth with her right hand, then immediately starts making my pizza and grabs the cheese with the hand that was in her mouth 3 seconds earlier. Then while continuing to make the pizza she gets her phone out of her pocket and and answers a call with her left hand. At no point did she change gloves. I suspect the gloves are to keep her hand clean rather than keep the food hygienic, but that's a guess.

I mentioned this to the staff who seemed to get embarrassed and then proceeded to ignore me, except for the lady making the pizza who gave me the stink eye after one of the other staff whispered in her ear. It was at this point she changed gloves.

Now, if they'd addressed my concerns, I would not have written this review. Ignoring me the way they did indicates to me that hygiene is not a concern. Very poor customer service. I don't really blame the counter staff as they were quite young and have obviously not had much training. This is on management.

Onto the pizza. It's a soggy mess. Sauce isn't seasoned well at all. Pineapple isn't sweet at all. And there's too much of everything which actually detracts from the overall flavour.

It's unfortunate because this place is my local.

But hey, they're cheap. I wouldnt call...

My recent visit to Coburg Pizza was a delightful culinary adventure. Known for its reputation in the local community, it certainly lived up to the hype. I decided to try the Meatlovers Pizza and The Lot, and both exceeded my expectations.

The Meatlovers Pizza was a carnivore's dream. It arrived piping hot, loaded with an impressive array of meats—think juicy pepperoni, succulent ham, and flavorful bacon, all harmoniously layered on a perfectly crisp crust. The blend of cheeses was rich and gooey, creating a delightful contrast with the savory toppings. Each bite was a satisfying blend of flavors and textures, making it clear why this pizza is a local favorite.

On the other hand, The Lot offered a more varied experience. Topped with a generous assortment of vegetables, including mushrooms, capsicum, and olives, it was a well-balanced option that didn’t skimp on flavor. The combination of fresh ingredients and a well-seasoned base made it a memorable choice.

The service at Coburg Pizza was friendly and efficient, adding to the positive experience. Overall, it’s a place that combines quality ingredients with a welcoming atmosphere, making it a go-to spot for great pizza...
