Maney's Dumpling — Restaurant in Melbourne

It has to be new owners cause we have been coming here for almost a decade and the food and service was disgusting. We got our dishes 25 min apart meaning we ate the rice by itself and then received the taseless main 25 min later and had to eat that on its own. Dumplings used to be amazing and we used to grab frozen ones to cook at home. The fillings don't taste the same and are a smaller portion. The food lacked any Seasoning. We left the last main dish untouched due to no flavour and the amount of time we waited for it. I hate wasting food and to have to get up and walk away from a full bowl of food was disappointing. Calamari batter had no flavour not even salt. Fried rice was OK but add salt please EVEN MSG IF YOU HAVE TOO!!!!! Dumpling had flour crusted on the bottom, clearly they don't know how to cook them. Flavour is also gone. Last dish of beef was literally beef in a water chilli broth of some sort. DISGUSTING. the fact we waited like 2 hours overall being served one dish at a time with large intervals for overpriced tasteless food tipped me to the edge of writing this review. There was one other table other than us. We recieved a team plate with 5 stale prawn Crackers as an apology an hour in. They didn't even question why we were paying and leaving 30 seconds after she had just given our last dish. I thibk she realised they sucked that night and just wanted us gone. I wish she had just asked us how everything was as I would have told her instead of writing here. I'm just angry I paid $130 for two ppl 2 drinks and 4 disgusting dishes. You in time are going to run this business to the ground and ruin the name of my all time fave take out...

A visit to Maney’s Dumpling turned out to be a delightful culinary adventure, where the fusion of flavours met with exceptional service. When we suggested we wanted to try their best dishes, the staff recommended the cumin lamb, Biang Biang Noodles, and an eggplant dish.

While everything tasted fantastic, there were two standout dishes. The cumin lamb, though slightly heavy on the cumin, was still delicious and packed with flavour. The real highlight, however, was the eggplant dish. It was superbly prepared and so good that it’s now earmarked as a must-have for any future visits.

吃的人少都是有原因的。 第一次在熊猫外卖点了他家辣子鸡（图一）结果做成了类似宫保鸡丁的类型，打电话还责怪我们点单点错了，结果老板自己看完以后外卖平台的照片，重新做了一份还送了过来，其实还挺好的，我还心想终于找到一家口味还不错价格也还不错离家也不远的店。 第二次去店里吃，服务员女士过来和我们讲有些不在菜单上的西北菜他们也能做，我说我想吃大盘鸡拌面有吗，她说可以把饭换成面的（菜单上只有大盘鸡盖饭，好像是15.8刀）其他什么都没说，也没说需要加钱什么的，然后菜上来味道也还不错，心里纳闷这家店怎么人这么少，结账的时候也没要小票，吃的也挺开心的。 第三次再次在外卖平台点了自取，同样的大盘鸡拌面变成了18.8刀，打电话问老板说：饭换面要加3刀，但是第一次换的时候并没有人告知，而且特别少的面，然后我就说不换面了就大盘鸡盖饭吧。到店里取餐时还是做的大盘鸡面并且没有多收我钱，强迫我领了这个人情。这个时候还觉得这个老板也挺好的，整得我还有点不好意思。因为之前点的大盘鸡羊蝎子量给的还算正常，所以没担心过他家菜的分量，当天还点了一份辣子鸡盖饭，打开以后鸡肉加起来应该没有50克，图片里是吃完鸡肉后的，基本上是16.28刀买了一个辣椒➕米饭🙂 说实话挺恶心的这家，怪不得吃的人少，身边朋友对他家的口碑也很差，只能说做生意如果这么偷工减料，迟早关门啊
