Upper oval is on a 10degree slope running towards the carport, and the run off from the grassy bank behind the players bwnch makes the ground as muddy as it could be.
No fence to keep the watching crowd off the lower service. And the lines were painted black and that mixed with a muddy grass means a hard time for the players to know what's going on.
